It was only Chievo but really important win to keep the gap from our Serie A rivals and focus on Barcelona.

I'm so confident we can play a great football against them and we do have a chance to qualify.
Few matches ago we had a frustrated Higuain who had a run of goalless games.Dybala had those injury problems and everything looked bad for us.
Now Higgy is back on good form and Dybala had a good game, he looks hungry and ready to impress for his future team Sad

We need to use our attack at full potential against Barca and not stay back.Strangely after lots of seasons we can say our attack is probably the best part of the team we have atm.

Our defence (or more so, our defensive work) is still our best asset imo. We can rely on it on most games we play in the sense that 1-2 goals usually ensure us a win. This time it won't be enough, Barca is not a weak Serie A side and they have the most dangerous trio in the world.

Barcelona has too much fire power to rely only on our defenders to stop them. We need to have a hold on the ball and dictate the tempo of the match. Can't let them take control of the play and we must be deadly on counter attacks. The midfielders and the full backs will be the most important players on Tuesday. Just please, pleeeeease don't f%*#"ing play it too safe bounce

I think we might win the first leg if we use the right strategy. Higuain and Dybala need to not miss goal opportunities. Barca's defence is weak, i don't rate guys like Umtiti, Digne and Sergio Roberto. Their midfield is not as good as it used to be, still very good but not far ahead of Juve's midfield.

If i was Max this would be my team:

HIGUAIN
DYBALA
CUADRADO-MARCHISIO-KHEDIRA-ALVES
SANDRO-CHIELLINI-BONUCCI-LICHT
BUFFON

i don't trust Alves vs Neymar, his tendency to go upfront and leaving holes behind will kill us, as a RM he could be a threat however.
Pjanic ? it's between him and Claudio because we need Khedira's physical presence for the headers.

I'm torn about Licht vs Alves in this game. I prefer Licht in general but Alves might be extra motivated against his old team.

Any mix of Pjanic, Marchisio and Khedira could work. I'm partial to Marchisio because he GOATs in CL and big games. Marchisio-Pjanic would be my choice but I would understand any other combination.

The rest of the lineup is pretty much set.

I'm confident about this match, I think we will win, I'm just not sure about the result itself. We need a good win to take to Barcelona. 2-0, 1-0, 3-1.

I wanna see a offensive approach of 352.

Wanna see Dybala up as a forward like we used him last year.Him combining with Higuain in tight spaces would be too much for Barcas defense.
Them will be backed by Pjanic as the advanced CM and Sandro & *Lichtsteiner on the wingback positions.

*Cuadrado is a must.If we wanna surprise them and start on the offensive then he should start. If we going for that boring non-aggresive approach (which I pray not) then he can come as a 2nd half sub.
With a balanced and careful back 3 supported by Marchisio and Khedira we can hande their firepower if we respond with same aggresivity upfront.

If Mandzukic is not ready for this game I would go :

-Higuain-
-Marchisio-Dybala-Cuadrado-
--Pjanic--Khedira--
-Sandro-Chiel-Bonucci-Licht-

Mandzukic is the reason I'd prefer to go with a more offensive 352.
We will play a central striker who's strong points are aerial game and workrate on the wing while he is limited with his skills on the ball.
I would love to see him play against Barca as his workrate and grinta will surely be needed but can't see him doing well as a winger.

That's why I say go full force with players who can create 1vs1. We got 2 great players for that in Alex Sandro and Cuadrado and we should use them.
And I still see Dybala is limited in that trequartista type of position. He did great last match but it ain't Chievo we are playing next game.He should play up with Higuain so Pipita won't be all alone upfront.

Higuain - Dybala

Sandro - Marchisio - Pjanic - Khedira - Cuadrado

Chiellini - Bonucci - Barzagli/Rugani

We did what was right. We were not affraid to strike them and we K.O them down.
There's no way they could pull another Remuntada , only if they bring that turkish referee from PSG match Very Happy

I'm so proud but I'm not surprised we won.

It's not over yet but I can see us scoring goals in Camp Nou.

Outstanding performance!!!! Vaiiii forza Juve !!!!

Park the bus at the Nou Camp. Frustrate them, give Messi no space and you'll go through. Especially if you get an away goal.

We got this. Allegri will play a similar game as this one, not parking it but not pushing too much. Alternating between moments in the match and managing the game. They will come out fast and strong so we have to hold for the first 10 minutes without conceding and then push up and do our thing.

I'm thinking a draw, but also a 2-1 loss is possible, and positive.

I do think Juve will get a favourable result in the second leg, if you play the same as you did last night.

As long as we don't capitulate early on, even if it's not our fault but via some disgusting deflection or a bad referee call & the likes then I see us getting a draw. Or if Barca in front of 90,000 disgruntled fans try too hard we'll pick them off on the counter.

But I'd say a clean sheet is close to impossible here.

As Tom said a clean sheet is probably not gonna happen, but I think we should at least score one goal on the counter attack, as Barca will be pressing right from the get go.

We only need one away goal and then Barca has to pull another miracle out of their arse and score 5 on us. Ain't gonna happen. We get that one away goal and the game is over.

Yep, it was an amazing night, even though we all knew that the tie is not over yet! It is not like the fans were celebrating after the game after a 3-0 win. I felt that there was an awareness about the second match and what could happen after that PSG game...

Seeing Gigi do what he did with that Iniesta save was just extraordinary... Really amazing... Incredible... Unbelievable... I was sitting in my seat there just stunned with that save... I was just wondering what Juve would be like without him...

The atmosphere is really good and effective. I think the Barca players can feel the pressure on them because of the fans. When they start passing around ineffectively and waste time, the fans start to whistle and then Barca immediately loose the ball. It really actually works like this, trust me.

When you actually are inside the stadium as a Juve fan, you will feel like you have been there forever and it is not your first time there.

In Camp Nou, I think that Juve should just play the from the begining and try to score as many goals as possible, because Barcelona are unbeatable in the Camp Nou. Only in the last 15 minutes should we start to park the bus with a 352.

I think we need to play to win in Barcelona. We must avoid an early goal as that would ignite them and rock us mentally and we need to set the tone in the game. They will definitely have the ball and definitely press as they need to score and have nothing to lose in this match.

Can't see us taking more than two goals even at Camp Nou. The strategy we used Tuesday was flawless, surely Allegri will learn from the 6-1 PSG and not commit the same mistakes.

We have fire power as well. Sandro destroyed the left side, Alves never gave a break to Mathieu while Dybala was doing magic in the center. It was a triple menace all the time and the defense was a lock because of constant/clever 2-man coverage on MSN. With the right mindset this Juventus team will be hard to beat.

And by the way Ter Stegen won't keep a clean sheet in match 2 since he lacks concentration & confidence. Cillessen is a much better gk. Barca's defence has shown its limits, and they are not very impressive.

Barca don't have a defense. They just try to depend on their ball possession to control the game... Once they loose the ball, there is a high risk of conceding.

Forza Juve!!  One week closer to the historic treble!!  Serie A is pretty much done now. 8 points ahead with only 6 games left. Lazio in the Coppa. If we get past Barca into the semi-finals then this could become an historic year. Remember we almost did it 2 years ago.  But this team today is even better. We have a complete team now. We didn't have that in 2015.

Let's see what happens Wednesday. I predict a Juve win because Barca will be presssing hard and Juve will score on the counter attack.
