Unless we are adding quality, that's already above the quality we have in midfield, then why sign anyone?! Right now our midfield is Iniesta, Busq, Rakitic, Rafinha, Arda, Gomes, Denis, Sergi, Masch, and Alena. Even if we get rid of a few of those guys, it should only be to add Veratti or someone of that caliber.

Is this another fkn Douglas type signing?

I think Rosell and Laporta's beef was the real thing.
They both had different ideologies of what direction to take the club, with Laporta having more the ideas most common Cule's seem to have and believing in Cruyffism, while Rosell wanted to make the team a money making power house and run it like a business, and basically distance himself away from Cruyff and the clubs motto. Rossell was a shady rat, and might even still end up in jail. The issue is that when Rossell stepped down, Fart somehow won with ease.
It's pretty clear that the socios at the end of the day love the money more than the club, thus explains why they would even associate the club with Fart who was going to stand trial for the Neymar case along with Rosell.
It's embarrassing. I mean, the only reason Fart ended up as president was because he served under Rosell, who brought in money to the club, and the destroying of the la Masia has continued as well as the clubs principles; and the appearances in court and idiot signings continue, as it's clear the current board has no clue on how to build this squad properly.
So no, it's not some Madrid scam to ruin us. It's been the rise to success and Rosell who was blinded by it and the money, and has been ruining our club we love so much. Sort of like an A-hole version of Citizen Kane lol

Anyone remember Keirrison? That transfer happened during Laporta's reign. We like to paint this board as criminals (which they are) but I believe there are some arrangements in the club which go deeper than the current board imo.

Same summer we signed Ibra. I don't recall any transfer of power to Rosell as such at that time.

Honestly I have no idea. The window hasnt even started yet so it's hard to say anything for certain... I can see us chasing after Verratti the whole summer and then buying some random no-name with a notion: "We did everything we could!".
