The king of Rome is stepping down Empty The king of Rome is stepping down

Its happening, after 25 years since his debut with Roma, its coming to an end.

From 16 to 40 years old with the first team of the club. Record number of appearances, of goals, of everything. Youngest captain ever in Serie A, oldest goalscorer ever in CL. Over 700 games with Roma. By far their greatest player ever. One of the best players I've ever seen and maybe the greatest Serie A player in my time. Legend for Roma and for Italy.

His last game with Roma will be at the Olimpico vs Genoa on Sunday.

So where he does he rank among:

Italy's greats?

History's greats?

Meh he is going to disappoint me
Basically he said to leave Roma because his contract won't be extended but no retire. Despite he is old 41 years and he hasn't athletism anymore not even for a third division in Uzbekistan
For me it would be a stain if after 25+ years played only in Roma he goes in Dubai or these places old 40 just because he wants further money

Depends on how we define greats, everyone has their own definition. For me, history's greats is where his conversation should be.

He is without a doubt one of Italy's all time greats. From the ones I've seen live, its him or Baggio.

one of the greats of the modern era, will feel strange without Totti playing, he's been a part of Football as far back as I can remember watching. Legend. Molenation
