He's still in the hospital. He was supposed to get out today, but they decided to keep him until at least Monday as he still is in considerable pain and has problems walking even with crutches (they changed his pain meds to get him off the oxycodon that he got until this thursday and now he gets some lighter pain killers, but thus the pain intensified for now). Other than that he's slowly healing, but it will take at least another 2 months until everything is fine again.

Hope he gets well soon.

How old is he? I'm guessing in 50s!!! Anyway, even in Bangladesh we have fantastic treatments for hip/knee repair. Don't worry, my prayers are with him.

Well, he's a little older, but the stuff that is broken has to mend on its own as it is not the hip itself, but iliac crest, pubic bone and seat bone - and that is simply painful. BTW, he is still in the hospital as they decided they wanted to keep him a little longer. I guess they want to fill some more beds...
