Derby vs Liverpool

Post by Nishankly on Sat Sep 17, 2016 1:07 pm

Next round of the EFL cup, They are 21st in the EFL league with 5 points from 7 games.
Would be nice if the result headed the same way as Burton.

Team news:

1. Karius should get his debut.
2. Can and Firmino should come back into the team.
3. Looks like Clyne might be required to play every game this season, If he gets injured we are absolutely *bleep*.
4. Ings might make his first app from the bench this season?

I have no clue how Klopp will line up but i'd expect a lot of chances for the subs, So i'd go with:

Karius
Clyne Matip Klavan Moreno
Lucas Can
Mane Coutinho Firmino
Origi

Could be anything tbh.

Hope we win!

If Firmino is not fit, Then either GW or Henderson can come in.

Grujic should get a start imo. Same with Origi and Can. They need game time.

Emre and Firmino shouldn't be rushed. Let them have few more days to rest/recuperate.

Karius
Clyne-Lovren-Klavan-Moreno
Lucas
Henderson-Grujic
Mane-Coutinho-Origi
Ings

Frankly, I see few more young/squad players making into the starting XI.

this is what I got ! It is strange that Stewart is not there. I hope Lucas and Can both start. We must rest Clyne at all costs.

Karius
Randall/Arnold Klavan Sakho Moreno
Lucas
Can Grujic
Origi Ings Ejaria

Klopp wrote:“If a player after the game had a little bit of an issue or whatever then of course we wouldn't go and risk him in this game.

“But it's not about resting 100% fit players - it's a normal rhythm, it's a rhythm we want to have in the next season again with games every three and four days.

“It's not that we are not used to it. We know how to handle it, we know about recovery.

“But it's all about taking risks in football, but not with players when they are not 100% fit. [There is] no decision made until now because it's still a short time after the [Chelsea] game.

“We have to wait a little bit. The session this afternoon will be important, only to see how they feel and I have to make decisions.”

Sturridge wont start then nor will WIJI imo

The *bleep* streams are killing me goddam. so laggy.

We looked really good in our pass and moves a couple of occasions. The speed of thought is very good.

Karius

Enjoying Grujic as well. Very talented.

Matip rock solid as always.

Origi doesnt look sharp at all atm. We were lucky to score a goal otherwise not good enough from the players.

We not made any chances, But our passing and keep ball strategy has been elite imo

We basically need 4 attackers upfront every game. So i'd be a bit worried how we'd perform when Can comes back into the line up with and without Sturridge.
