One thing I did notice is that when there was less space, as the game went on, he disappeared and Falcao shone more.

The kid is crazy talented but he needs to be given time to grow.

The whole point of playing Barzaghli and Alves was to snuff Mbappe (and Falcao) out as they both drift left at the same time in a lot of games. I saw it coming. But he's young and he'll grow. Already has more balls than any teenager I've seen since maybe Rooney.

that juve switched back to a 3 man defense to stifle him is impressive enough. and yet he still had twice the chance to bury them.

He is a phenom on another level. I remember looking at him last summer when he won the u19 destroying teams, but you can never predict this stuff.

Chances he had wasn't massive chances tbh, Falcao had easier chances.

I'd argue for the most part they did stifle him. Although seeing as this was the first time i watched him i was impressed.

Having said that i feel like it would be wise for people to pump the breaks a little bit, teams will start game planning for him next season on a weekly basis if he keeps it up.

He's a surprise for pretty much the whole of europe, it's completely different when entire gameplans are geared to stop you which is why youngsters usually tail off.

Maybe he is the next Henry or whatever lol, but it's far too early jump on any bandwagon.

Teams are already game planning for him and he is still beating them.

Good teams lol, not Ligue 1 scrubs.

Also it's completely different doing it two seasons straight. I know you want to be excited but tbh it's too early.

Not even saying he won't be everything you think is, just expression caution.

The difference between him and other players we consider talents is just striking. And he's 18 ffs Laughing

That's why understand Nick, I think it's understandable to throw caution over board with this kid.

This is very likely the next megastar of football.

i keep in mind he has to make good career choice too to be successful. If he doesn't join Madrid i step off the wagon

I'll start hyping that Brazilian kid Vinicius

Where would you play him if he joins Madrid Nick? It's clear that his best position is a roaming striker in a 4-4-2 formation. hmm

Down the middle and left switching in an out with CR. he is a natural inside forward and it's almost as if he was born to play with CR. he will have space to roam given how CR now plays and the left is his strong side. This is so perfect I wanna unbutton my pants right now. It's like I invented with my mind. HE naturally fits our scheme now, and CR's evolution. You can't have CR as a full time and he won't play as a full time winger. You need an in between guy. Alexis is a natural fit but he is old Perez would never sign him, and then Mbappe appeared. I just find it hard not to fap at how well this fits

Chad will hate that he benches scrubsema though this is literally perfect to ensure we get prime À rants too

no comparisons to us splashing money on Martial and to what Mbappe already is, can't see him moving for less than 85m.

if Madrid want him they will sign him..if they don't then we sign him IMO, don't see anyone else involved.

We will offer more money than Madrid regardless but Mbappe would rather Madrid no doubt

could see Madrid buying him then loaning him to Monaco for another season or two until CR7 settles down

City are after him too. Pep wanted him in the summer and with Aguero been linked out of the club interest seems to be back on the table.

I'm sure there working on it.

Mbappe and Jesus pairing with Sanchez and Sane as left/right midfielders (Sterling rotational player) will outscore most PL teams imo with at least reaching QF and SF with even their current defense.

Thats why I said with the current defense (Glitchy, Zabba, Sagna, Ote, etc) they may. Mbappe and Jesus will only able to do so much with that. Jesus and Mbappe going to guide Pep to another treble eventually.

On a more serious note he's an unreal talent on a similar level of Messi when he was 18. I think everyone will be after him regardless it's just one of those talent you can't let escape you. Mbappe will go to the club who offers him a starting spot. I wonder if Flo will let Benz go hmm

If Sanchez leaves Arsenal for another English club, it'll be to Chelsea. Not City.
