I'm calling it.

Without a doubt THE next best attacking player in the world. The next real big thing.
Second best after Messi right now.
Unbelievable, generational, historic talent. Only turned 19. What a player.
A true phenomenon, the rare kind of transcendent player whose emergence every football fan needs to cherish.

Spoiler:
Madrid rofl
Nick rofl

18 years old.  Just finished his FIRST year of full time top level professional football...  7th in the BdO. Youngest player ever to achieve top 10 in the BdO.

What a life.

Mbappe has 10 UCL goals at 18, took Messi until he was 21 to reach 10 UCL goals. Discuss :vagi:

Right! Man is barely an adult and reached 7th in the BdO list. That's really impressive.

So his first half of the season is over at PSG:

19 starts
12 goals
11 assists
57 shots
1720 mins
goal or assist every 75 mins

Pretty darn good. Getting better too. His CL numbers:

6 starts
4 goals
3 assists
21 shots
483 mins
goal or assist every 69 mins

Almost as good as Benzema

Rips off part of the opponent player's sock, is nowhere near the ball. Gets red carded. Acts as if he was sentenced to jailtime for a crime he didn't commit Laughing

Another instance where VAR does the job but you won't see people mention it. Love it.

That's not the issue, though. I'm for VAR, I just think they need to come up with a more efficient way to use it. Before VAR was officially introduced to the sport, I imagined a ref would be watching the monitor constantly with the help of someone who knows how to operate the cameras and whatnot. That ref would communicate with an additional ref who's actually on the pitch. That seemed like a much better solution, but evidently that's not how it works.
