Real Madrid vs Cultural Leonesa

This game is more or less a formality. With a 7-1 cushion not even a world allstar team could get back from that nevermind this 3rd tier team. This games serves to give players some rest and to preserve our unbeaten run.

Ronaldo is likely to be rested as well as Navas, Lucas, Modric, Kovacic and Ramos

Casemiro can finally get his first mins and hopefully be ready to start against Barca. No new injuries have befallen us thank God.

Probable line up:

Kiko
Carvajal-Varane-Nacho-Danilo
James-Isco-Casemiro-Asensio
Mariano-Benz

i wouldn't even mind us playing an entire team of castilla players, let guys get some much needed rest and training for the big games coming up

I think either Pepe or Ramos would start this one. Both need the match fitness. Money is on Ramos getting the start. Personally think he should go RB and give Dani another match rest.

There is a lot of speculation that Pepe, Ramos start in clasico! However, I do expect Pepe to start this game, but not Ramos. I think we will see lots of Castilla players in this one. Dani should not play nor Varane nor Isco. And what about Coentrao!

If I were Z, I wouldn't risk Carvajal in this game. I wouldn't play Isco either.

Although I also want to wrap Carvajal in cotton wool he needs a few mins to keep his fitness up. Coentrao is so useless. This is the kind of game we needed him in and he so conveniently gets injured Rolling Eyes

Kids are looking good. Odegaard, Tejero, Asensio, Mariano all have been impressive. Also Isco and Casemiro, Dani. Nothing much for Pepe, Nacho and Kiko to do. Only complaint is James, almost invisible out there!

Early goal, asensio jumped on a CB mistake, excellent pass to Mariano who scored on 1St touch. 2nd goal by Mariano called back as offside.

1st half ended with a Leon goal. 10-3 on aggregate.

Zidane has taken off both Isco and Dani. Perhaps they both will play on Saturday!

Varane on for Dani. Tejero moves to RB and Nacho to LB.

Enzo Zidane on in place of Isco. Odegaard has been impressive!
