We are being pressed at home. Somehow we managed to play worse than PSG game. Xhaka is less mobile than Elneny if u can believe it.

We recovered towards the end. Some of the players look way too tired.

Not sure why Arsene sent Gabriel instead of Coquelin.

How on earth is this team 19 games unbeaten? rofl

Awful stuff yet again. Started well and gifted a goal, but were outplayed by Bournemouth afterwards and were rattled by the penalty decision. Now just look frustrated and trying to do everything at 100mph. Creating absolutely nothing and look vulnerable at the back. The very definition of playing shit.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS a win

had to work hard but the lads delivered.

Sancehz MOTM but ElNeny was fantastic too. 2nd best player for me today.

Better second half. Looked more assured at the back, had the opportunities on the counter to punish them but, as usual, lacked the right decision making at the right time. Ozil and Alexis play on their own in those situations because no one else seems to know what to do.

Afobe missed a big chance to make it 2-2, though. Cech is class.

Alexis was fantastic all game.

Don't know when we'll start playing well again but we're hanging in there and there's a long way to go. We just need to keep in touch and hope the performances improve at the right time.

Fantastic performance in the 2nd half. Bournemouth made it tough at some periods but the lads showed great fight in them that we didn't see in previous weeks.

Xhaka is a must start so long as Cazorla is out, offers that creativity from deeper positions which allows Alexis/Özil to really express themselves in attack without having to worry about bringing the ball in the oppositions third. Elneny/Ramsey to partner Xhaka. Coquelin-Xhaka in big games and some other tough games away from home where Coquelin's defensive side is more needed.

Also Giroud is such a great option from the bench, his attitude is 10/10.

I thought there was a nice balance at the end of the game with Ramsey playing 10 and Ozil RW. Xhaka-Elneny-Ramsey would actually be a good midfield. It's something we should try more, especially if the opposition left back isn't much of a threat going forward.

Good win. Needed.

As already pointed out, there were some good combinations near the end, and most of our players put in really good shifts in the second half.

Now time for Sanchez to get some rest for the League Cup tie. My team for that match would be:
Martinez
Maitland-Niles - Gabriel - Hayden - Gibbs
Coquelin - Elneny
Ramsey
Oxlade --------------------- Iwobi
Giroud

Or maybe Perez on the wing (if full fit?), then Ox as AM and Ramsey in the midfield next to Coq?

Giroud felt a twinge in his hammy apparently. Would be wise to keep him on the bench.

Alexis HAS to be rested. Lads been superoverplayed.

At least Özil had some break over the international period.

Debuchy is so unlucky  Mad

Today was one of those games where you take results over performance since we haven't won in like 4 games. I hope we improve over the next couple of games because we have been average for a while. The likes of Ox, Theo and Ramsey better find some form over the next few games. It''s very frustrating to see them being carried by Ozil and Sanchez. It's very frustrating to see them being carried by these two, if they are not playing well then the entire team looks lost going forward.

He looked really good too which sucks even more. It was refreshing to see him pass forward and show technique unlike Jenkinson.

But, back to square one we go.

Was surprised he did the interview in English and sounded coherent. Of course he finished off by saying he was going to go home to his dogs Laughing

One man is going home to his wife and newly born baby, and another is going to his dogs. Guess which one is which?

lots of confusion as to what the CM pairing should be.. scratch
Coquelin is the best when it comes to ballwinning and defense..
Xhaka has long balls, through balls, shooting..
Elneny has better ball control and short passing..
Ramsey can have everything and nothing depending on his form.. Laughing
so i would avoid Ramsey at this point of time.. tongue tongue
