Arsenal is really not trying to copy Barcelona , maybe in 2010 or so with the Nastiest, Fabregas etc Arsenal was at least respected for trying to play beautiful football.

Tactically Wenger is past it ( just line Ancelotti for instance ). His management is also not as good as before . Who is the last player who improved under Wenger ?

He's a Has been but big respect for him tho.Fans should boycott some matches this season. If the revenues decrease , the owners might react faster .

Alexis Sanchez. That's just the thing with him, Cesc, and numerous players played better under him than they did under anybody else

Will Milan be the nail in the coffin for Wenger?

And Maybe Milan can still sign Aubameyang for a cut rate price lol.

Lol someone is living in fantasy land. Sorry but Arsenal will get knocked out most likely. With the way Milan is playing and the way Arsenal is playing it won't be pretty for Arsenal.

Keep your bad analogies to yourself.

the tie could go both ways. alot depends on who wenger picks up in his line up. if he gets his lineup and tactics rights arsenal can eliminate any team. even with the current players.

they actually tried to copy Barcelona but it didn't work out bcoz of Premier league. later on the game style was a bit mix with direct play also. And now arsenal are stuck within no proper style of play.
i think some players like xhaka and mustafi are taking wenger too much for granted and ultimately the team is suffering. some decisions also don't make sense like selling gabriel in summer when we clearly had non proper backup. than in winter transfer window we sold our depth in coqulen and walcott. they both had attributes which are missing in this team. we have no proper wide player and not a proper defensive midfielder.
not to forget the sanchez issues the team management has been piss poorbthis season

No. Not with this current set of players even. What is wrong with Arsenal is the mentality and that can't be changed by simply changing the line up.

Arsenal is missing so much in terms of defensive quality and their other players aren't up to par.

I don't watch Serie Zzz for obvious reasons but I can see Milan is on a pretty little win streak so I suppose that's where your optimism comes from.... However, I believe deep down you know it won't be a walk in the park. Arsenal has better players on every position and Milan being in a better form doesn't mean much.

It seems like you have a predetermined bias and like to believe fantasies. And no,  Arsenal doesn't. Maybe a year ago they did,  but we had major investments done. Better investments. So keep trying.

But the notion Arsenal has better players in every position is simply laughable fanboyism. Ridiculously laughable. Maybe with the CF, but everywhere else nope.

I'm a big Wenger fan and while I can acknowledge his shortcomings I will be laughing when the next Arsenal manager fights it out for one season with Everton before getting sacked.

Arsenal definitely doesn't have better players in every position so this is very much an open tie. I am loving GianCarlo's optimism though, very refreshing considering only Milan fan that was in GS was ES but he is retired now. Kaladin is a Madrid fan.

On topic, Arsenal should have fired Wenger years ago but decided to keep him for (insert reasons I really don't know). In any case, this is what happens when someone over stays their usefulness.

I care about this game because this is the team I support.

I try to be optimistic. I was a major Debbie downer when it came to us not signing a class CF and then signing a scrub like Kalinic. I like Andre Silva,  but he is having trouble adapting. I still believe in him and in the rest of our investments,  besides from Kalinic. Even Borini has had more of an impact to Kalinic.

We will see what happens. I believe all the improvements we made have us ahead of Arsenal with regards to the midfield and certainly the defense. Kessie is an explosive player that Arsenal lacks and he will have his say. So will the rest of our big investment players.

Agree with Doc, everythung with Milan has too much (well founded) cynicism. Giancarlo's optimism is nice.

I don't see how this can be so one sided in favour of Milan. I also don't see how Arsenal would already have it in the bag. From the complete lack of experience in the Milan team I have to give it to Arsenal but it's open. It's good for such a young Milan to play big games in the end.

Trust me. I was one cynical naysayer for years. I see a breath of fresh air with the new management and acquirements. Montella was the wrong guy to lead this team and that is where we were hurt this season. We have a good base for a top four finish next year I think.

Yeah I should temper my expectations, but I do see an edge for Milan. Gattuso would probably tell me to shut up and understand it is one game at a time.

I will temper my optimism a bit and say we will see. I'm sure this team will give it their all. Kalinic could fudge it for us if he plays though.

Milan has started to play games against big teams with greater confidence and more maturity beyond the average age of the team and Bonucci is a great leader. But yeah we will see how it goes.

I have been here through good and bad with this team (more bad in recent times), but only have been absent from this site for periods because of personal and life changes. Milan has always been my team, through good and bad.

Alexis didn't improve under Wenger, he just played his best position. At Barca he was forced to play wide because Messi played through the middle and...what, you're going to play Alexis in the middle instead of Messi?

Reason for why they keep Wenger is cause the owners dont have any balls, and just want the club to continue it as it is, steady income for them, CL every season, not too ambitious and not too bad. They will finally be forced to act though this season clearly they will miss our on CL likely and win nothing.
