Any takers here for this brand new revolution thats happening in Indian tv/web series sector.
Done watching the first season of TVF Pitchers and it was refreshingly good. Quite good in fact.

Didnt expect this sort of quality from an industry that has until this time churned out turd after turd, be it soul destroying soap operas or equally shite teen romance sagas.

Pitchers is rated 9.4 on IMDb btw.  (ofc slightly overrated) I would give it a 8.5
Check it out guys. (Just 5 episodes and Available on Youtube as well as on their official channel TVF play with Engish Subtitles)
This guy, Arunabh Kumar created The Viral Fever(TVF), an independent online entertainment channel after getting rejected by MTV India and needless to say its creating a new wave here in the country.

The big plus of all their shows is that its universally appealing, the content they are coming up with.

Need to watch their other shows now and also eagerly awaiting Pitchers second season.

I had 0 hope going into the 1st episode. But it got me hooked right from the 1st scene. The writing is clever and the dialogues by a certain Biswapati Sarkar are excellent.

EIC outrage is amazing though. They explain what all is wrong in India while adding a tinge of humor to it. Its in English.

Just finished "Humourouly yours" and it's damn good to say the least. Man this TVF is just keeping on impressing me. The production value, cinematography, music, acting and direction all top notch.
Next on the list are Pitcher and Permanent Roommates. Am having high expectations now, so u better deliver Tvf.

TVF and AIB do not cater to what's wrong in India, They just explain norms and other things what we can relate to.

EIC might not be funny, But they are a able to send across a message.

But lets face it, This country has a huge population of uneducated (Getting a bachelor's degree does not mean educated) people who do not know how to behave.  

Jio has made it worse, These scums can now get offended online over everything for free.

I would pay these guys to get TV screen time between the scumbag news channels.

PS: I have seen Tripling, Arnub, Pitchers, everything. Laughter is not at a dearth on youtube. EIC approaches something that we need to improve the country.

Looks good eventhough the humor seemed a bit cringe and unfunny at times. "Munni Badnam Hui??"  lol
But having said that the issue they are raising is pretty legit here. Subbed the channel therefore. Will check out their other videos.

But then again what about AIB? Aint they doing stuff like these as well? I am not entirely familiar with a lot of their stuff tho. Their stand up comedies from what I have seen are pretty decent too.
Listened to 1 of their podcasts, the one which featured the Indian Tarantino Anurag Kashyap on Soundcloud/YT and that was excellent to say the very least.
So, I guess theres a lot of interesting content out there right now I reckon. Good for us.

Go for Pitchers mate. Its awesome. Much much better than Tripling (which I didnt like very much tbh). And yea Humorously Yours is quality too. Havent finished watching yet. So far, so good.
I skipped Permanent Roommates cos of the genre.

Its a personal preference, I'd rather watch people who try to address huge issues in India risking political and public wrath rather than watching Bachelors vs Landlords.

Since you've subbed, I recommend watching all the EIC outrages, Especially regarding Sourabh Pant and Azeem Banatwalla.

just finished 3 episodes of pitchers and like u said it's amazing. What am more impressed about these web series is how good they are made. Feels like watching HBO series.
And I also skipped permanent roomates due to its genre lol. Gonna give it a go though.

Agree to some extent. EIC do take more serious issues than AIB but more often then not it proves too much for them and like Glory said it comes off cringe. Full marks for their efforts though. That's where AIB ticks for me, they just way more edgier.

1. Pitchers
IMDb - 9.4
Lucifer- 9.5

2. Humourouly Yours
IMDb- 9.4
Lucifer- 9.0

3. Trippling
IMDb - 8.9
Lucifer- 8.5

Next is Permanent Roomates, which I have been dodging due to its romantic genre, gonna give it a go though tonight. Take a huge bow Tvf, that's all I have to say.

Nish, have you watched EIC's Bollywood awards? It was dope. I didnt know these were the same guys who did that Ghanta awards (Indian Razzies) thingy which I have enjoyed watching in the past.
Roasting here is reasonably genuine and funny unlike the roasting AIB does (one in particular where mainstream Bwood people like Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar participated which I found highly offensive and disturbing).
EIC > AIB

As for TVF, it is hard to compare as they specializes in something different I guess.
