Disagree. Pool haven't done anything well. Made a few big defensive errors we haven't pounced on, not passing it very well, the pressing hasn't been too impressive. We've been better all over the pitch, except where it counts. The scoreline. It is what it is. Streak is over but we'll bounce back.
Fully expecting a Pogba red card today too

Yeah, was surprised he didn't get a yellow for either incident.

only way today could end worse is with an Origi goal that James never shuts up about and I can see it happening on the counter in the last 20 mins when we're pushing hard.

I not sure if it is the right decision to bring Rooney for Carrick

Neither team has been very good.
Man U somehow both unlucky to miss their chances but simultaneously lucky they haven't given up another penalty for Pogba going full Surag on Hendo

I think that was during a Utd corner in the Pool box. I might be wrong. If it was in the Utd box that'd be *bleep* outrageous.

Probably right, I haven't been watching closely. On in the background.
That being said I've watched enough to see that Pogba has been absolutely horrendous

I could swear Liverpool want to lose this game. They're giving United too much space and are reluctant to even reach the halfway line.
They should go for the second instead of trying to protect (and poorly) a meagre 0-1 lead. They may regret it otherwise.

10 mins left on the clock and Utd are playing long balls, and crossing from the half way line. Calm the f down.
Ibra with a nice goql. That Rooney-Miki combo is the worst I've ever seen. They couldn't get past that RB even when he wasn't there

I guess a point is fair. I was always saying Ibra is going to decide that game. We just can't deal with hoofing to trees.
Rooney should have been off and the United goal was offside ( 7th in the last 5 home games? )
Both the teams have a long way to go. United missing out on a chance to be honest with the team we put out.
Also Firenze pls stop talking so much shite mate, It gets unique level cringy after a while, You can't say you was better at both Anfield and OT.

Content with a draw in the end. Would have been a disaster to loose and let them go 8 ahead. At least we have a reasonable chance of catching City soon now. Pogba with his worst United performance. It was almost like playing with 10 men.

Re: All Star Referee Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 9
Overall, I think United should feel worried. That's not a performance to be proud of, especially when you're playing at home.
Liverpool had 4 core players out, I hear. That's not an excuse, they could've won today hadn't they felt the need to fall back and protect a narrow lead. When United equalized they immediately started attacking again and created a couple of decent chances to score.
They had enough talent to walk out as winners today, but fear crippled them and ended up settling for a draw.
None of them played well enough today to make a case for a title bid..But there's still time for them to improve given how tight it us at the top of the table.
Pogba's nervous breakdown in the box remains the highlight of this clash.

Re: All Star Referee Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 9
We should be fine. Rojo-Jones for the first time showed weakness when faced with a tough test. So with Bailly's return that will get sorted hopefully. Until we face City now we have a kind run of games, ones we should be winning.
And this team is nowhere near the finished article yet. When you miss chance after chance in every match you play, it is evident there needs to be a lot of work to be done.

I wanted to laugh at somebody but it's a draw. Feel like this is more of an L for United than it is for Pool though. Overall, the best result for Spurs tbh
Edit: just saw that with all teams equal on games Spurs are second dead

While playing in a European competition they have not qualified for mind you. That sort of footballing level was yet to be seen until now.

Also what's going on with Firmino? I was told this guy was one of the best AM's in the league. I've watched like three or four Pool games recently and all I've seen from him was getting into good positions and then being wasteful.
Pool fans are right. He's great off the ball. That isn't much use though if you can't finish. Dele is a better player and I'm not joking

Firmino will come good. Wait for it. He's been playing on the left wing where he is shite. He's in their because of his off-the-ball work.
But GL and you only want goals and assists and 8/10 on the ball performances, We Liverpool fans tend to watch how he fits into the system.
