It's a shame we don't use more of our youngsters for depth instead of having to buy 3rd options such as Sturaro. We have found some good talents in Lirola,Audero,Orsolini,Donis,Cassata etc. The best of them we should bring while they are U20 imo or atleast send them to clubs who know how to work with young players such as Sassuolo (our Juve B) , Atalanta,Sampdoria.
I can see Lirola doing great as back-up for a year or 2 before eventually becoming a starter, he is followed by Barcelona iirc.
Orsolini and Mandragora can find playing time and play when we have secures the match to replace Dybala/Cuadrado and Mandragora replacing a midfielder.
We got Bentacur as well who looks like a smart midfielder, still has to work a bit, run more but he's very talented imo.

That's because Serie A offers a lot of openings for our u23.

You always prefer to provide your youngsters some quality playing time. For example Pjaca was a wasted talent this season because 90% of his appearances were 70' min subs.

Problem is we lack depth in our squad, Sturaro/Rincon/Lemina are C+ players at best. We have 1 attacking sub, a 17 year old born in 2000, that's absurd as well.

Lots of dead wood we can replace without spending much

Schick > Kean
Mandragora > Sturaro
Bentancur > Lemina
Pjaca = himself

might as well keep one of Orsolini/Spinazzola (the other one leaves on loan) so we have a complete reserve front 3

after that all we really need is a tier 1 CM, and in January make other transfers if necessary

He's off to Atalanta on loan, with an option to buy and a buy-back option for Juve.

Looking good vs Sass at the moment. Obviously talented but also obviously raw. Hit the post with a curler.

Seems like he is going to Bologna after all. Verdi just got injured and they need a replacement.

Found little space in Atalanta. They fight for every game too much to allow him much space to grow. Signing Ilicic and Cristante (and having Papu) is too much for him to overcome. Needs an easier team to get into, he is too raw for Atalanta.

Good thing he goes to Bologna then. If he is too raw for them it means he's a definite flop.

21 years old already, i thought he was 18.

Not really, Atalanta finished 4th last season, and are again a top 10 team in Serie A

Far be it to call a player who never played 1 minute in Serie A prior to this season a flop, he joined a very ambitious side that has good options like brother @rincon said

Too early to judge

I meant if he is too raw for Bologna, then he's a definite flop.

At 21 years old it is acceptable to warm the bench at Goatalanta but not in Bologna (in terms of a Juve prospect standards).

Sorry, I completely misread.

There's always a strong chance that younger prospects never end up at Juve or have a Giovinco like trajectory. There's nothing wrong with that, sometimes you get in early and sign Dybala, and sometimes you don't and pay 40M for Bernardeschi after a strong couple seasons, its just how it goes

Bologna plays 4-3-3 so it should be perfect for him. There is also Donadoni who is a good coach and gives plenty of space to youngsters.

The whole forward line is either pretty young or inexperienced: Verdi-Destro-Di Francesco. Palacio is there rotating. If he can't find some time there then its pretty hard to rate him. The only concern is that its mid season so he doesn't have much time, but it should honestly be an ideal environment.
