The Derby d'Italia hype thread

I guess this deserves a thread of its own.
Inter are on an 7 game winning streak in the league and it's probably the first time in more than half a decade that they've actually looked this good and this consistent.
Juventus on the other hand are slowly picking up form themselves having moved to a new system which is not only bringing the desired results but is also making the team play good football and create more chances. Would be interesting to see if Allegri persists with the 4-2-3-1 formation against Inter whose midfield has been the big reason behind their turnaround.
Juventus have been nearly invincible at home having won 29 games in a row whilst the last team to break Juve's streak of consecutive wins at home was Inter themselves (23 I guess it was). It's also a battle of the two best strikers in the league and one could say this is the most competitive Derby d' Italia in a while.
The best team vs the most in-form team in the league. Who'll win ? Please discuss.

You are right with the first part of your post and wrong on the second.
Icardi of course got this, and he WILL score on us. Its his thing and at this point we just have to accept it.

3-1 Juve
Dybala, Higuain, Icardi, Pjanic

Re: The Derby d'Italia hype thread
The most felt match for me.
Anyway I think we 'll lose it.
We come from 7 wins in a row, the biggest wins streak in Serie A this year, and we're going to face the Juve at JS where they have 100 % score of victories.
Besides we 've the decisive match of Coppa Italia (single-elimination game ) just tomorrow against Lazio so no turnover
Anyway .. I think we 'll play so
Handanovic
'DAmbrosio Miranda Murillo Ansaldi
Gagliardini Brozovic
Perisic Joao Mario Candreva
Icardi
While I wonder if Juve will insist on this fruitful 4-2-3-1 or if it will be back to most solid 3-5-2

Inter are playing away and Juventus will want revenge for the partita di andata. Inter will be demolished, probably 3-0 or worse.

Now that's gonna be exciting
let's hype the game of the season boiz
Most in form Inter for years while we havent lost a point for 29 matches at home
Beating Inter would give us a massive reassurance

Pioli if you read me I 'm thinking this lineup to face the Juve 4231 system ( so as to have numerical superiority at midifelder )

Medel Miranda Murillo
Candreva Gagliardini Kondogbia Perisic

Re: The Derby d'Italia hype thread
Inter got Hans. @Sri join us, this your chance.
Rumored lineups
Juve (aka the good guys): Buffon; Sandro, Chiellini, Bonucci, Lichtsteiner; Mandzukic, Khedira, Pjanic, Cuadrado; Higuain, Dybala
Inter (aka the bad guys): Handanovic; Murillo, Medel, Miranda; D'Ambrosio, Kondogbia, Gagliardini, Candreva; Perisic, Brozovic; Icardi
---
Allegri should play the same mid and attack that has worked wonders the last 3 games. In defense, Barzagli is adoubt with a fever, but anyway the 4 are almost confirmed to start. Marchisio recovered from his injury but is left in the bench as a precaution.
Pioli reads @Robespierre posts and will likely change to a 3-4-2-1 to counter us. The more physical duo of Kondogbia-Gagliardini should start. In the trequarti Brozovic looks like a starter given that he is also a pure "midfielder" as opposed to the AM Joao Mario. Banega is not even in contention. Perisic, Icardi and Candreva should be undroppable.
Inter are in an outstanding run with 9 wins straight, just broken by Lazio in the coppa. Juve after losing to Fiore and losing Marchisio to injury, changed to a 4-4-2/4-2-3-1 to accommodate the attackers and minimize the midfield. It worked great and we smashed Lazio, Milan and Sassuolo.

Re: The Derby d'Italia hype thread
I can't honestly see us win here but if we did that would be a huge boast to the players confidence and could help us get the 3rd spot trophy.
