^ Fillon immediately backed Macron after conceding defeat.

Melenchon (the far left candidate), refused to back anyone.

But yea, too little too late for MLP to stand down as FN leader. She should have done it months ago....the party' name is tainted by her father' holocaust denial and embarrassing defeat in 2002. MLP should have rebranded the party, or made a new one after kicking her dad out in 2010.

That's what Macron did. Macron was part of the failing SP party of Hollande, even served under him....yet he knew Holland is so unpopular (4% approval rate ffs Laughing ), and it'd be a disaster to run as a SP canddiate, so he made a fake new party to disassociate from the fact that he's basically Hollande with a better hair.

4D chess by the globalists. It worked brilliantly !!

Le Pen's National Front 'took 5m euros from EU'

The far-right National Front (FN) of French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen may have defrauded the European Parliament of about €5m (£4m; $5.4m), EU sources say.

Marine Le Pen said: “France will be steered by a woman, it will be me or it will be Mrs Merkel.”

I wonder how the utterly inept Le Pen can think that she's better equipped to handle Merkel than Macron.

Macron will submit himself and France to Markel, and with great proud. He went to see mrs Merkel to ask for her blessing because he would do nothing without her agreement....

What a muppet and a weak leader. Who would want such a leader? I will be suprised if Le Pen does not win, but if she doesn't now, she will next time around after you realize just how weak and submissive Macron is.

Well the idea is he's a stooge for the EU and Le Pen was pushing for a French exit, so it's not about her being inept it's about 1 candidate being pro EU and the other being anti EU

65% of the people apparently.

The French have been more level headed than Brits and Americans for decades now. Was scared for a moment there but ultimately, they crushed Le Pen.

This was obvious really. If anyone would prefer LePen over Macron, they would have voted for her the first round. No way the one's who voted for other candidates would prefer Le Pen.

Even if she had won she'd probably defer her powers anyways. That's what happens in Europe when a right wing party wins lately.

Not sure I have the strength to type a long essay on the National Front. Just do a quick google search. Plenty of information on her.

Congrats Mrs Merkel. The European Reich shall fall soon enough though, one way or another, there's no escaping it.

Also, enjoy the upcoming terrorist attacks, gonna be fun.

She got crushed because of her awful economic policies which would have been outdated back in the 1980s nevermind 2017. She isn't fit to be a leader.

Trump and Brexiters won because they focused on populism. Le Pen couldn't even answer basic questions in the debates.

So Austria, the Netherlands and France go centrist President who are globalists... while the UK and the US go for nationalism.

The world is truly upside down.
