I like Wenger a lot and still think he still deserves defending from a good part of the criticism he gets, but he's been past it for a while at the highest standard and for some of the stuff Arsenal do under his responsibility there's just no excuses.
It's a high profile job and he's not really looking like he's up to all of the demands anymore.

He's still delivering consistent decent results, mind you. That's not to be sniffed at. But there's nothing else. No development, no visible system, not even good football anymore. In the end Arsenal fans know best that a fresh start is absolutely inevitable now.

let me tell you, missing out on CL when you're accustomed to it hurts

His interviews these days has unreal resemblance to Galliani

'We could have signed Messi when he was 3'

'We are the only team to play CL consecutively for 2 decades'

'We've racked up more points than our rivals for the last 30 yrs'

Let's hope he has the class and dignity to bow out respectfully unlike Galliani who enacted his own faux departure just so he could get some sympathy from all corners.

He is right, he is a decent manager & reasonably consistent without a major fall. But very few trophies & little achievement in the CHL.

He is a solid mediocre manager who will give decent results !

I think anyone wants to see a different coach in Arsenal. A great club as Arsenal deserves to fight for the title, not settling for same seasons.. . Arsenal fans got social positive aspects in these years because Arsenal under Wenger allows you to organize your time off . Because these seasons were always equal , CL place and premature knock out on CL. There is worse , surely. But I think they feel also need of novelty.

"Ferguson has some other interests in life and he was older [when he retired] than I am today," Wenger told reporters. "He was four years older. He retired at 71 and I’m 67."

When asked if he planned to carry on for four more years to match his old rival, he replied: "Maybe more, maybe less, I don’t know. Everybody is different.

can easily see him going 5 more years

I do, Arsenal will not make the top 4 for the next 5 years after Wenger stays. It will be like United after SAF. Also the lulz he provides are simply too much.

The players need to pull off a Leicester and sabotage our games to get the old man sacked.

Then again, our cowardly board would still offer him a new contract even if we lose the rest of our games. :brickwall:

Man is going no where and Arsenal fans only have Arsenal fans to blame. Mongs are actually more embarrassed about a protest than they are of humiliating defeats. Losers just like Wenger.
