Don't know if i said this before, but this is my favourite thread title by far.

Agreed about Ozil, few teams will actually want him at this point. He's finished, he has become far too limited, can't handle a tight coverage and looks like he doesn't care anymore.

Maybe some Schalke, Monchengladbach but not more than that imo.

i'll also add that wenger never had 'it'. how many great sought out players have arsenal actually been able to hold unto? they're kind of a selling club if you really think about it. vieira henry cesc rvp, all skippers, all left. vieira's case is a bit different cos he wanted to stay and arsenal had that ridiculous policy of not giving players over 30 more than 1 year deals. petit anelka overmars. only reason bergkamp stayed is cos he hates flying, and no top club in europe wud be interested in a star who doesn't fly

35m for having a player for only 4 months is rather ridiculous. Especially when you won the league in september. IMO worse than spending 120m in Coutinho.

Also he will fail, Alexis under Pep at Barca was nothing to write home about.

Not really, because Liverpool had all the leverage in the world, whereas Arsenal had none. If City waited until June they could have signed him for free. If Barca waited until June it would have made no difference at all.

Whose forcing you to spend 160m on a overrated and cup tied player lmao?

There's zero justification for this, what City are apparently going to do is very normal.

Man Utd paid 25m to get Van Persie early when he only had a year left on his contract when 25m was actually a lot of money.

The only argument is whether City need Sanchez but the finances of the deal is very cheap, much cheaper than most deals that have been done in recent seasons.

To compare this to 160m for Coutinho is absolutely ridiculous and there's no argument for it.
