he's gonna have real competition once mahrez settles on. mahrez is a level above him technique and skill wise.

neither mahrez nor sane are going to be regulars though. De Bruyne, Aguero, Jesus, Sterling, David Silva and Bernardo Silva are ahead of them. They're fighting for who is going to be part of the 3 subs.

Bernardo is groomed to be Silva's replacement, he's a midfielder. Sterling, Mahrez and Sane are the wingers.

Somewhat unnecessary comments by Kroos about a teammate.

That said, it's interesting to see how Sané responds to this current benching of his by Pep. Given how good he was last season, it almost feels like Pep is testing Sané's character; is he going to show fighting spirit at training and in games or meekly accept whatever role he's given?

My phone has an old pic of me passed out after a night of debauchery, rum and women. Think I'll change it now, GL has spoken.

Maybe his dream was to always become a footballer, and he celebrated that with a tattoo hmm

Anyways, come home, Mr. Sané, to the sunny side of Red North London where you will be appreciated.

No one of a Sane mind would take a tattoo like that tbh.

worst tattoo I've ever seen in my life

and I include the horrorshow of a tattoo that Ederson has on the side of his neck, which looks like  Cecilia Gimenez restorated the pile of poo emoji

completely changes my opinion of the kid

now, IMO he'd be lucky to be taken in by Bayern and put in a Trachtenjanker that covers his torso decently

A bit of context:

That tattoo was him celebrating the away goal he scored in the CL against Monaco in a City shirt. A game they lost and got KO'd from the CL, he got a lot of stick for it and then changed it to Germany national team kit.

Hence why Kroos is saying that it doesn't seem to matter rather winning or losing to him.

That Side-Way Pass Merchant trying to ostracize Sane, after questioning his desire to win with the NT

At least he will be rested, they would have mention if their was an injury.

Apparently his gf's giving birth or so. He was allowed to leave. "Discussions with Löw" is the slightly unfortunate translation of the German tweet "In Rücksprache mit.." which means "after consultation with.."

Yeah this honestly didn't reek of discontent in the German original, I think for once there is no drama to be had.

He hasn't started a single big PL game or any CL game this season. If he knows what's good for him, he'll leave City this summer. He can be the main man at another big club instead of being a rotation option at City.

He is a very interesting case. No other club would make someone a rotation option(and barely at that since he isn't even 1st choice off the bench) for a player who scored and assisted 20+ in a season. I mean at at least 10 clubs he would be POTY last season lol.

But Pep obviously saw a flaw in the side with him and judging by how excellent they look in the league, he made the right choice.

He's started 5 of the last 6 PL games lol. Mahrez has been a sub for 5 of the last 8 games.

I suppose Mahrez should leave too because he's played even less over the last 6 weeks.

He literally only starts against the small PL teams. Fact is he hasn't started a single important game this season. Mahrez and Sterling are Pep's big game wingers.
