Unlike those pretenders like Gotze, Draxler, Holtby and Max Meyer this kid is the legit deal.
Was amazing against Atleti. Was the only player doing anything of note. Pity he plays for such a shit side in Leverkusen.

Seems unnecessarily cynical.
I don't think he's a special player or anything but he's a good young player. Would have much preferred someone like Sané, and am more excited about our links to Dolberg.

Also after watching those highlights I wouldn't exactly use that as some kind of proof of his greatness or future greatness. What exactly did he do? He lost the ball a bunch, had some poor crosses (one of which the defence made a mess of and put in their own net) and had a bunch of safe passes.

Brandt is a million times more talented and is actually showcasing his talent in the Bundesliga second best league in the world.

Brandt is having an incredible season. Ever since he got converted to midfield from the wing he's been on another level. He's got a €25m release clause this summer. Hopefully he doesn't ruin his career by joining Bayern.
Havertz is great as well btw. But he's already getting hyped all over the place. Brandt needs more hype. He's the best player in Leverkusen right now.
And both of them are better than that scrub De Jong.

To be fair, he is a legit talent and is better than all these pretenders he mentioned in the OP.
But Liverpool won‘t get him if that is the reason mcagger is excited. Brandt has a £20m release clause and will join the Bayern revolution in the summer.
