If there was ever a point in the season when our campaign could implode it's now.

Bale is suspended
Morata is suspended
Ronaldo is injured
Carvajal is injured

Who the heck is going to score our goals now? And if Danilo covers for Carvajal and not Nacho ZZ should have a CT scan on his brain

Can't wait for Lucas to pump those crosses to casper the ghost in the box. Isco, Ramos save us please

I don't feel like posting anymore because every time I do, I find myself repeating the same criticism I said the week before.

The Las Palmas draw at home that saw us take 1 point from a possible 6 in a span of 4 days was the final straw for me. There's only so much mediocrity I can handle, and I feel like I have bagged a truckload of it  during this week alone.

So, I'll just sit quietly in my corner and hope with every fiber of my being that Real Madrid don't drop points against Eibar.

This is the reality of my favorite club and I have to accept it and learn how to live with it. Real Madrid is being managed by an incompetent and there's a few players in the squad who don't deserve to wear the white of Madrid.

If we win the league this year, it won't be because we were the best, it'll be because our rivals sucked so much we ended up winning it.

Didn't see it posted anywhere. Cristiano, Ramos and Marcelo getting tough with the squad for their lack of defending as a unit, and their personal issues interfering (to Isco and Morata). This was in the training session yesterday to prepare for this match.

And Isco/Morata might have other things on their mind when not on the pitch but on it they give their all. In the last game Morata would've been a better defender than Ramos without a doubt

It's always easy for someone like Ramos to ask other people dont talk about their contract when he and his agent threatened to go to United a few years ago. He has his millions secure and a long term contract.

anyhow, Ramos defending has been shambolic as of late. i dont think any of our backs are playing good at the moment, plus Kroos in midfield looks like his legs are shot

Look Asensio! Forgot he existed for a bit. Swear I thought Danilo was injured or maybe my mind wanted him to be unavailable and I took whatever reasoning that suited my narrative.

@DoC, we have been highlighting the structural issues of this team since start of the season. This squad is poorly coached and it's too bad people think we have an agenda against Zidane.

Early in the season we were on an extraordinary run of victories, but we were playing poorly, relying on CR to score, relying on Ramos to score late headers.

The structural issues we have start with playing from the back, and actually managing to retain possession when we need it. When we play against Las Palmas at home and they are dominating the ball on our field, then there is something this team is not doing well.

Heavy reliance on individuals is not enough to win a league title, and we have been mediocre in la liga in the past 10 years. Yet we do well in CL because again, this is a world class squad that is easy to motivate for big european night.

In a way we are very much like Benzema. If you read the list of top CL strikers, without knowing Benzema, you would think he is one of europe greatest CF of all time. somehow he gets motivated by that competition like nobody, and then we hit the weekend and he can barely beat keepers in 1v1.

it was actually cristiano ramos and modric. but yeah cristiano and ramos talking about defense is ridiculous. especially ramos who for a defender gets outsmarted a lot on the defensive end of things. i definitely need some creativity on this team next season, a true ten would be of huge help, not to mention assessing those who should probably pack their bags. the chances we've had to extend the gap, coupled with points we've dropped is embarrassing. and we've got to address players who always get injured as well moving forward. some inventiveness is needed tactically, the 4 3 3 with this crop is spent

but you cant introduce a 10 when you have Kroos and Modric in midfield. unless you play the diamond 4312

but again, this would just be fixing tactical inaptitude by the talent of a single player. not to mention that n10 are lazy primadonnas, no thank you

To me, it's more this stupid 3 striker setup.  You need wingers or, at the very least, AMs who play wide on the attack.  It creates width and creativity.  Strikers are just hunting for goals... because that's what they do.  If you start making them think about anything else, they get lost and look stagnant. Also, strikers have no idea how to defend.

Besides, there aren't enough balls in the box to satisfy 3 guys.

in all fairness to Bale, he does his job as a "winger" well when he is on. The imbalance is on the other side of the pitch...

Bale is a goalscorer too though... he does his "winger" thing on attack, but not defensively. Besides, Bale is only around 2-3 months a season

Bale is really helping the team on the defensive end. Nobody can deny that

Bale on the pitch is not a problem, of course he isn't as good on the ball as Isco and co but he executes his job very well. But like you said he is rarely available which becomes problematic.

Asensio is being too cute in defence like he is afraid to get stuck in, pulling out from duels etc. Man the f up and get your kit dirty.

I think ZZ should play Nacho in place of Marcelo against Napoli. We don't need to score and he is a better defender than Marcelo
