Also, why the hell did Zidane bring on that cancer James for? He added nothing at all and quite frankly, didn't look like he cared too much to be on either. Morata would have done way more with that limited time.

@Zigra, everything was going through Robben for Bayern but it was non threatening to us. Towards the end he just gave up, when he lost the ball he just put his arms in the air and walked back

madrid had 23 shots at goal and 12 on target. Bayern had 13 shots at goal with 3 on target. its clear to see who was the better team on the night.

Missed chances but compared to his other games he did well

He played a lot better once Bale went off. Just like he plays well when Ronaldo isn't playing. Or both.

Arjen Robben was really good & Madrid had 2 men on him & he created a lot of space on the left from where Lahm was marauding up & down. Happy with Vidal & Thiago. But Martinez with 2 idiotic fouls single handed screwed the game. And Boateng fake best CB is the most overrated ever. An above average player who has hyped for no reason, Bernat shouldn't even be starting. We'll go all out in Madrid & will try to win by 2 goals - Very hard but possible. We need Hummels & Lewandowski to be back.

Also big knock on the board who have barely spend money in the last 2-3 years & are looking at sales & cheap players. We don't have any replacement for Robben. Ribery, Lahm, Alonso etc. Why the f*** would we loan Badstuber to Schalke when we have only 3 CB's & be forced to play with Bernat.

I would sell Costa, Bernat too next season & also replace Alonso with a top CM not f***ing Paulinho.

He's nothing special but he's a good squad player for a club like Bayern. No way I'd sell him unless he's pushing for it because Bayern are too short on players and can't just buy a whole new team.
Bayern need SOME backup striker, a creative midfielder (been saying that since before the start of the season ffs) and they obviously have to finally start finding a replacement for Robbery.

Robbery are here till 2018 & we have Gnarby & Brandt lined up. We can't have a player like Costa taking a squad player spot, will rather give that spot to a young talent. Costa drifts into the middle, doesn't defend, throws tantrums for increased pay. Let's put 45-50M & get Sanchez. Bernat has to go to.

We definitely need a top CM. A 2nd ST won't come. Lewa & Muller are on 15M each & both miss 2-3-4 games in 2-3 years, possibly 2 of the fittest players in the world. Lewa wants to start every game, twice a week & the 2nd ST will barely play anyways. And a top Winger this season like Sanchez can play ST as well.

Costa btw is someone who does well against teams like Leverkusen or Arsenal, not Madrid types, needs heaps of spaces & a 1000 crosses to get stuff done - Good squad player not elite talent to push Ribery or Robben to the bench !

If you can get Sanchez you don't need a backup striker because he can play that role too, that's true. If you don't get him or a player like that though you need a backup striker. Doesn't have to be a top one but you need someone else than Müller because Müller can't play the role he needs to. But yeah Sanchez would be the best solution.

Not sure about Gnabry and Brandt. If you think they are good enough fine but you can't wait forever to bring them in. Has to happen this summer.

If you buy these two AND Sanchez you can sell Costa I guess but really only then because you can neither rely on Robbery for the 17-18 season nor on two new young wingers.

Alonso retires at the end of the season anyway.

Costa was great for BM in Pep final year, I'm not sure if it was Pep who was getting the best out of him or not, but he was pretty lethal for them, he's been hit with a few injuries and we all know Ancelotti barely rotates and usually sticks with experience over everything else.
