It reads Chelsea are open to negotiate. Marca is running a series right now this weekend it was Hazard open to a move now Chelsea willing to airbag down to ear the offer. Might be the most expensive transfer ever when we look at the clubs involved and the player

Can't see it happening. Mbappe or Dembele will be cheaper if its Real Madrid who are buying those players( and not say, a United). Flo Perez will look elsewhere once Chelsea quotes their price, which could well be in excess of 100m in today's market.

Monaco are asking for 100M for Mbappe! That's not a lot cheaper than Hazard will be. Given values last year, (Pogba in my opinion is an abnormality), I would expect Hazard to be around 120M, not really out of line with other players on club.

There is interest in Mbappe as well, but if Monaco hold firm, that interest will quickly drop. Dybala is the other interest that is being discussed. I'm assumping at this point the club is interested in bring in two forwards with Morata and James departing, Morata likely going the other way to Hazard. Unfortunately after Perez's statements on weekend, it looks like Benz will remain. The big question is how will they play Ronaldo, Benz, Bale, Hazard, Dybala?

That's an easy answer tbh.

You obviously wouldn't get Hazard and Dybala, it would be one or the other and more than likely neither.

Going by the article alone, I am guessing Chelsea would rather negotiate for Hazard than Courtois. Wise choice I say.

I have been very vocal in my criticism of Hazard but that wouldn't be wise at all.

Courtois is overrated as hell outside of England and much easier to replace than Hazard is.

Say for example they sold Courtois for big money and bought Lloris as a replacement, they are no worse off and arguably a better team tbh.

If they sold Hazard for big money who can they replace him with who isn't already at the likes of Barca, Madrid, PSG, Atletico, Bayern etc etc?

Yeah that's an easy decision in my mind.

Lmao would love it if we signed hazard, just so I could watch hazard-cr-bale partnership fail miserably which it will, and fans/media lying their asses off about great it is, waste of time transfer if cr isn't leaving and if RM really buys mbappe for anything more than 50-60 gonna be extremely disappointed since these wonder kids seem to only last about 2 season nowadays.

It will fail cause cr sucks ass as a cf, will roam left and push hazard in to center between cbs for half the game... Its gonna suck hard but the denial from the idiotic media will be priceless, what I'm really hoping for is benzema to be moved, still has some prime years left, would want him to play to his potential as the main man for a season or two and make critics eat their words, when the team struggles can't be his fault all the time.

THe interest in Hazard has been there all along particularly Zidane. And it does look like Zidane has a lot of input in signing whether or not Monchi comes at all. This weekend news is simply that Chelsea is reported to be open to negotiations.

There has been reported interest in Dybala and Mbappe. Haven't heard anyone at club saying there is interest in Dembele. With the price tag on Mbappe (ridicuous for an unproven kid), I suspect that interest will fade. The real issue re Dybala IMO is whether or not they plan to buy two forwards or one. Given Perez's statements on weekend re Benz, you really have to question how they can possible play and keep happy Ronaldo, Benz, Bale, Hazard and a Dybala. I can see Bale missing a lot of games and I can see Ronaldo begin to miss some games plus we can expect to see him both on wing and at CF. But all 5 will expect to start and play regularly, so I now think with Benz likely staying, the one signing may be the objective which likely comes down to Hazard if they can negotiate a reasonable bid with Chelsea.

so my guess at off season moves are
incoming: De Gea, a LB, Marco Llorente, Hazard.

Outgoing: Navas, Coentrao, James, Morata, Mariano

There is of course the issues with Pepe and Isco. They are offering Isco a 6 year, 6M a year renewal, hopefully he accepts. Still concerned re Pepe. It's Vallejo or the other Llorente if he does leave, but hopefully they will keep him.
