Trainspotting 2 is one of the best sequels made. Only complaint I have is that Kelly Macdonald's cameo felt really shoehorned and unnecessary. Other than that, it was a pretty great follow up to the first film. The characters and unbelievably well written and the film is beautifully shot.

Sadly I was not at Cannes. I saw his earlier film, Force Majeure. Great film but such an intense watch. Cringe was strong. Check it out!

John Wick 2 is great. That dog scene imo

"Does he have a name?"
"No"
XD

Passed on watching POTC 5, It is worth it? I could watch it just for Knightley but now I'm bored.

Manchester By The Sea was such a depressing and funny watch at the same time. The interactions between Lee and Patrick had me in stitches and then again Lee's backstory and meeting with his ex wife made me sad as f. Its on Amazon Prime and everyone should watch it. Very accurate description of Mass people and teenagers actually looked, talked and behaved like teenagers do.

Glad to see someone else liked the funny moments in Manchester By the Sea as well. Had a nice blend of funny and sad, but obviously the sad was just way more prominent.

Manchester by Sea may have had many funny moments but all I remember from watching it is how depressing it was. The movie didn't offer even one moment of "Good for you Lee". I've read that the last scene was supposed to be that but I didn't feel it while watching.

Is the Assassin's Creed movie worth watching? It's gotten mediocre reviews, but I'm a huge fan of the games so I might like it anyway. What do you think?

I did not care for it honestly, but as a fan of the games, I do think it's worth a watch. They tried something different and it just didn't come off so I can't fault them too much.

Not gonna lie, Wonder Woman was legit. I was sceptical going in, being DC and all but it exceeded my expectations easily.

Read that as Jeff Hardy wanted for Jafar role for some reason.

Which would be quite strange.

Kaufman overload.

You accept the challenge the movie throws at you, I watched it twice in consecutive days, but it really just didn't do it for me.

He should stick to screenwriting, because I also didn't like his stop-motion animation, Anamolisa, that much.
