Varane was a full first team player at Lens and never played a second in Castilla. It's like United saying the developed Rooney or Ronaldo...they developed there traits at everton and sporting, just took them to the next level once they reached us.

Of course we take credit fo varane. He came here as a 18 yo teenager and developed into the best cb in the world. Same with Ramos and Marcelo and Higuain. Carvajal went a year on loan at 20 after 10 years with Castilla. He dominated the BuLi and came back. Same with Asensio.

RG on shit, no one called Granero the next Guti. No one. He is not even left footed. Pedro Leon literally came from Getafe, not a Madrid product. The Russian winger only claim to fame was him being used illegally by Rafa.
