Wenger will discourage long shots and ask him to look for passes more, as he does with every forward that comes to the club. Which is a good thing because long shots = bad unless you have someone as good at shooting as Coutinho is.

It's an interesting choice because the other winger we're being linked with is Cristian Pavon at Boca, who's a right footer who also likes to shoot from distance. So it seems we're looking at a explosive player to replace Alexis rather than a very technical one (like Mahrez or Draxler, for example)

Technically not as good as laca but as long as he has defined role and played to his strength he would get the job done

having Genuine pace in attack gives the team big advantage since not all your chances have to come from perfectly measured moves

if Özil stays, Werner in current Alexis role could do well
if not then two up top with wide playmakers
