That second half was horrific. Only saving grace was that we were playing Doncaster and not a decent team instead.

By the end we had Maitland-Niles, Dasilva and Willock in the backline and they're all midfielders.

Wilshere looked decent.

Also...ElNeny is kinda average isn't he? Not sure there is anything he is good at other than pressing.

He is pretty average. Covers a lot of ground but isn't outstanding defensively and can't play a progressive forward pass. He's like a more energetic Denilson. He even has the long shooting Laughing

lmaoooo good comparison.

Also, Arsene needs to stop using Nelson as a RWB. No idea where he is going with that. He has never played there before. Play him as a forward. He looks so uncomfortable there.

I just realised that we had four u23 players out there (Maitland-Niles, Dasilva, Willock and Nelson) and NONE of them played in their preferred position. We're literally using our best young midfield/attacking talent to plug holes in our defence.

Not the best game in the world, but it doesn't make a difference when you're this close to your team

Iwobi and Ozil haven't travelled to Belarus. Marcus McGuane, Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson, Josh Dasilva and Eddie Nketiah will all be involved. Alexis has travelled as well, apparently.

Chambers is out with a hip injury. If Koscielny, Mustafi and Monreal are rested, it means someone will be playing out of position at the back again (possibly Maitland-Niles, Elneny or Dasilva). Wilshere, Walcott and Giroud will probably start. Nelson could play RWB again.

DaSilva looks big and strong. Might as well use him there.

If Nelson starts at RWB

1-0 Walcott. Wilshere assist.

Walcott hit the post about two minutes before, again set-up by Wilshere.

Willock and Nelson have started really well.

3-1 now. First decent BATE move and they score. Not great from Ospina or Holding.
