Pogba won't say anything since he will just get benched for the rest of his contract/ Mou's duration as Manager. Him 'ripping' Mou would do more harm to his career than him being stifled creatively. Hell, Mou's probably hoping he criticizes him so he can do just that and pair Fellaini and Matic without any pressure from anyone.

I'm not for Players getting managers sacked etc but it's clear he's making the team miserable and something needs to be done for the future of the team.

Nah. Players can force things if they're a certain level. It'll come down the club choosing between the manager or the player. At Madrid (and PSG, Barca and Bayern), the players are kings within reason. Talent wins games. In EPL, I've noticed the managers get more of the nod.

But in the end, Pogba can easily create a situation where the club is forced to choose. He's media savvy enough to do it in a very impactful way too.

He'll unleash Raiola btw... who, if you haven't observed it, is a very public and direct person once the player asks to attack.  It would become a PR nightmare for Man U very quickly.  As much as I don't like Raiola... he actually relishes these clashes. He's Mourinho's match more than easily if it came to a media battle.

Pogba hasn't even come close to justifying his price tag. He'll be replaced if he doesn't finally step his game up and you think he can challenge the demigod that is Mourinho

wild prediction here but Pogba is not gonna be playing so deep for united. He did it commando in the world cup to win, but that's not who he is as a player, he wants to be further up. It's easy to do it over 4 weeks every 4 years, but ti's different when you do it week in and week out. UNless pogba has completely changed his personality, which i doubt, he will be asking to play AM by january lol

You guys don't understand how toxic Mourinho is.

As an example... all the creative Madrid players HATED him as well as anyone with any personality. For Mourinho, everything has to be about him and he throws players under the bus when the team fails because of him and his shit personality.

The reason France was able to play the way they did and get all the players to buy in... especially Griezmann, Mbappe and Pogba... was that Deschamps made it about the players. In the documentary today, he told them that the games are about you (the players). If you (the players) listen to me and give everything, I will defend you against everything. MOST IMPORTANTLY, he told the forwards and Pogba... I will give you the liberty to do what you want going forward as long as you're keeping your defensive responsibilities.

He had players buy into his tactics. Zidane, as another example, did the same thing at Madrid.

At the end of the day, the manager's job is to get the best out his top players. Do you really believe the Mourinho gets the best out of his best players? Pogba, Lukaku, Sanchez, Martial, Rashford, Bailly, Herrera, etc.?

At Madrid, the guys that loved Mou were Arbeloa, Khedira and Varane. At Man U, Matic, Valencia, Young, Lingard, Fellaini, etc. Other than Varane and maybe Matic, do you consider any of the other guys as the top talents on the team?

That was the point. The setup is not the (only) problem. Pogba is playing like he doesn't give a *bleep* about United some times. He played well for Juve and France because he cares for it, he wanted to do well, so he did.

For X reasons, at United he doesn't. You can blame Mourinho for not getting the best out of him, just like you should blame Pogba too for failing at basic things. One of United top investments is out there wasting everyone's time. That's on Pogba too.

At the World Cup, every game is like a final. I've personally see him put in 5% effort in games against Stoke, Huddersfield and the like, was he like that at Juve? or was he a scrub killer?

Consistency is def his main issue at United..and some of that is def because of Mourinho and some of it isn't.

He did have games like that at Juve too but main difference is he dint have that entitlement attitude that he has at United right now. The senior players at Juventus kept him grounded.

Also playing next to WC(high workrate) midfielders helped as opposed to playing with Fellaini..

Everyone knows present day Mourinho is a fraud. We didn't need the world cup to tell us that. That doesn't mean that all players are off the hook, they still are responsible for putting in the effort/performances and giving it all.

He had games like that but it never seemed out of entitlement or lack of will. It seemed like the typical ups and downs of a youth player.

In his last season he was a scrub killer. He would put on a show against mid-low table teams and hammer them.

I thought he was really good against Bayern and the CL Final rincon...  one of the few in that CL Final against Barca that had some teeth to him in difficult circumstances.

What has Pogba actually done to be considered bigger than the manager? When he is playing for United he is walking on the pitch Messi-esque and not giving a *bleep*.
Pogba is not the main player of the team, he wasn't one at Juventus, he isn't one at United.

He was great against Bayern. I wasn't clear with the way I wrote that.

By scrub killer I didn't mean that he only showed up vs scrubs, but that he also showed up vs scrubs. Unlike what he is doing now.
