I remember mentioning a "regression to the mean" a while back tbh.

Gonna keep mentioning it in reference to Madrid. Actually, there results will get better in time for the same reason in the context of the season so far. But this season as a whole I think I'll continue to expect an "underperforming" compared to previous seasons. The previous two seasons for Madrid have been marked by extreme success relative to their actual ability.

So surprising to see Real drop so many points already, but it seems just major bad luck? They still create tons of chances.

I think it also goes to show how underrated Benzema is, he may not get that many goals but him being up their really helps the others.

No. It shows how badly benzema is USELESS. Put any 9 in that position and he's going to score loads of goals.

CR will have his good and bad days but his good days are much more often then benz's

I'm so tired of Ronaldo always passing to his teammates so they're in no position to continue their runs. He only passes like that, so he can get in a position in the box.

If only he'd actually try to play Asensio open on that last play instead of trying to get a goal himself...
