CoD WWII

Post by Great Leader Sprucenuce on Tue Aug 15, 2017 10:59 am

Strangely hyped for this for some reason Laughing can't wait to be crushingly disappointed.

First, Divisions replaces the Pick 10 Create-a-Class system, and delivers the fantasy of enlisting in one of five iconic fighting groups in the world’s most brutal conflict. This test of the Private Multiplayer Beta will feature an introduction to a portion of the player’s soldier progression and the underlying foundation of Divisions, and we can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it. The final design of this new feature will continue to be fine-tuned as development continues from now through launch.
Also, we’re excited to hear from you after you’ve played Operation Breakout, our first War Mode experience. War, developed in partnership with our friends at Raven Software, is a new way to play Call of Duty Multiplayer in an immersive Allied vs. Axis fight across the war-torn village of St. Lo, France.

As i understand Divisions is a class based system and you get additional skills for that class, for example one is for AR, one for SMGs, Shotgun, Sniper, LMGs etc etc.

Probably to stop ridiculous OP classes where perks would work too well with certain setups.

No idea what War is other than it isn't the same WaW's War mode.

Here’s an overview on what you should expect in the Private Multiplayer Beta:

Maps – At least three Multiplayer maps, including: Pointe Du Hoc, Ardennes, and Gibraltar.
War – Operation Breakout
Modes – Fan-favorite modes, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint.
Divisions – Enlist in the Infantry(AR), Expeditionary(Shotgun), Airborne(SMG), Armored(LMG), or Mountain Division(Sniper). You are not limited to any one Division, and we encourage you to try them all

No idea why they chose Hardpoint over S&D tbh, but meh.

Agreed, i don't think it's a coincidence that the last CoD i truly enjoyed was the original Black Ops which was Vietnam war.

And the only reason i stopped playing that was Ghost was one of the most broken perks i have ever seen.

I tried playing BO3 recently and at the beginning i enjoyed it, but eventually the flying above my head and the fact my guns were shit compared to everyone else started to annoy me.

Watched some MP clips and god damn this is day 1 for sure. Also the gore from WAW is back ffs people losing legs from nades

Another thing is that the loot box system in WW2 will apparently be like cod4:R were it's pretty much cosmetic only with some weapons here and there. These weapons can be crafted just like in cod4:R

You seen the 8 minute gameplay clip from GameInformer yesterday?

STG looks *bleep* insane Laughing seems like a WW2 version of MW2 ACR on roids.

My secret hope is we get a killstreak like the Blackbird/VSAT from BO1/2 but considering it's WW2 that seems unlikely Laughing

Most of the maps look larger than what I prefer, but the gameplay looks fun.

Wish they bundled WAW with the game or even better, made it BC like they did with XB1.

Backwards compatibility would have been really great. It's probably the only thing I envy about the Xbox.

Backwards compat and remasters just end up showing how trash the game actually is 2017.

As shown by CoD 4, i have zero interest in reliving past glories tbh.

I don't need to tbh.

Every Youtuber and redditor said it was trash, also you played it for like a week lmao.

It's exactly what i said it was, a nostalgia trip which would get old extremely fast when you realise it's issues of being a decade old game and it had issues then anyway.

You're so full of shit?

I played it every day for 3 months with Thimmy till I got burned out and went back to OW.

Haven't heard anyone calling the game trash when it's the same game as the original with added cosmetic stuff.

The only issue the game had was x3 nade and that's it. I'll get back to it when S5 ends till I figure what game to buy while waiting for WW2

Whilst being the worst Modern Warfare i've found MW3 pleasant. Not worth a remaster since the biggest problem was the poorly designed maps, where you get killed from the back every damn time.

Golden Era was from COD4 to Black Ops.

Pre-Ordered off of Amazon. 46 quid with 2 quid off thanks to a free Amazon student trial. Beta code should arrive on 24th.

It's not the normal edition either so I have some gimpy extra zombies stuff.
