we have to remember Serie A is a league where a lot of PL scrubs have had success

and the average age of centre halfs are like 35. Salah probably looked like The Flash out there tbh

Not saying he's a bad player but I'd be surprised if he does anything of note in the league

Its only 2 games into the season and the guy is already at 1 goal.

His hype was only that he is a very direct, high scoring, winger, which he will show again at Liverpool no doubt.

Nah i remember a lot more hype than that Laughing Because nobody has ever denied he's good at those things.

But i remember praise for other things, like his intelligence and just general technique.

Not surprising in a league where Kalinic dominates though and 38 year old Luca Toni is treated like prime George Weah by defences.

Kalinic domination hasn't begun yet.

But it's about to

Isn't Mule League the league where Gabbiadini started GOATing and Niang looked decent?

that's the least of it , you can imagine the situation when people rated Smalldini there

it's funny now , imagine in his 6 months heydays . It took me 1 game to know he's bang average , lads up in the norf probably still in denial

serious calcio fans never hype PL rejects either , except his exquisite ability of being a speed merchant , you'll need to hunt for Roma fans still left in the world for people who actually hyped him

pls all of you except our Great Leader who already sits on his GL throne , get out there and get an espressino then you can sit down

If 2 goals in 11 games is what you call decent then sure.

Gabbiadini looked pretty good but he was rated well enough at Napoli, I remember Serie A fans saying he would do well for Soton. Niang was shite outside of a couple of brief spells, which is why he was sent back to Mehlan.

I can drum up a list of PL flops and OAP's that look like balon d'or contenders in Serie A. Stahp.

i'll stahp , but FYI the proper way of disrespek is Meelan , not Mehlan.

Niang was is and forever will be shite , even in Tadjikistan league , please don't bring this lad up anywhere , kids stop following football everytime he plays

hmmm wouldn't say great but Iturbe looked good for a season in serie Z and was a proper PL scrublord (from what i gather) in Bournemouth

if you mean native PL scrublords moving to Serie A and doing anything of note , not sure right now

maybe Salah ? does it count ?

Riise was good at Roma , wouldn't necessarily call him PL scrublord

Ashley Cole was finished when he joined Roma , not sure if he qualifies either

Glorious David Beckham was a success at Milan , molto champagne football against Genoa and Chievos of Serie Z , loved him

i struggle at this point , surely there must be something to please our PL overlords

The nerves on some Calcio fans when they shit on other leagues when Serie A players have the worst track record of flopping after leaving Italy.

Lyf is hard after calcio Farfan , this is known . What's to experience elsewhere after Calcio ? The PL equivalent of the American Dream aka but can they do it on a cold rainy night in Stoke ? Imagine using this to prove the superiority of the GOAT league when Stoke's bigger player ever is the weather ? And even then , he's rated as bad anyway ??

Trust me dear Baguettligue fan , it is not nerve. It is GL propaganda that has made SERIE ALPHA look like Serie ZzZ . But i will reveal the truth to the fine people of GL.

GOAT league is like this WWE thing . Seems like the real thing to the uninitiated but it's all a show really. No real pain in there just failed marathon athletes , no true disrespek although they are the banter kings . GOAT Banter league i agree , we'll never catch them .

Other than that , their football is all about who gets bored of running first , then said team wins. They are forced to think for a change once they stop running and they auto win. Serie A coaches are worshiped like some mumbo jumbo 2nd coming of Sacchi and getting paid like they cured ebola there . Once a coach earns their SERIE ALPHA badges it's settled they win the GOAT league there . Poor Wenger , they usually do it in turn with each other just to banter with him.

Good reason why Liverpool will never win it tbh. Klopp is great fun but no Italian alenatore , he doesn't realise there is only one way to win the GOAT league and that is to walk the league , not run it till you pass out. Even calcio fans understand this , but them , they obviouly don't . Liverpool players probably still running after Hoffenheim , how else they will earn pundits recognition obviously.

I mean even Ancelotti easily won the GOAT league lol , damn it Ranieri won with Leicester , what nerves farfan ? Imo they should pay luxury tax to SERIE ALPHA for any Italian alenatore who served in the holy grounds of calcio and then moved there to develop their football. Inb4 Gasperini goes there in a year or two and gets 10m a season for making the likes of Cleverley understand which foot to put before the other , we're talking the situation is tense there

SERIE ALPHA is where it's at , you should know that by now , but the GL calcio prophets have stayed silent for too long. This will change

Exactly, it's like expecting baseball players to volunteer playing in part timer regional leagues tbh.

Such is the gap established by the GOAT league.

Obviously there are exceptions to the rule. Majority of Serie A exports are terrible though.
