I saw the game, it's not like the totally sucked. But yeah, I think selling Hummels was one too many, a top UCL team is overselling them nowadays.

not a top CL team no, but they're still a dangerous game for most teams

Defensively horrific though

Don't think they are finished, They should remain a football club for a while.

Power in Europe? Certainly.

We haven't been considered a top UCL team for a few years now. We've been in the second tier of teams tbh. We've lost a lot of great players to other clubs. Players that are hard to replace.

Just a thought, but perhaps it would be easier to replace players if you sold them for a fee instead of letting them run out their contracts? Smile

They cashed in nicely on Dembele.
Not their fault Reus is injured 90% of the time.

Spurs only won due to terrible refereeing, tbh.

Also, there's already a thread

http://www.goallegacy.net/t40606-the-dortmund-downfall-or-the-bosz-era?highlight=dortmund

Lock/merge threads please. Let's not accept a new moronic trend where a "Is ... finished" thread is made after every defeat a team suffers

Are we gonna completely ignore the robbery that took place? The italian referees were pure trash.

2 wrongly disallowed goals (1 was outrageous), and a very dubious goal from Kane. Also, Aubameyang would've been 1 on 1 vs Lloris if not for another wrong offside call (1st half).

Prime Barca and Real would be proud of this robbery. Can only imagine how much Tottenham paid the ref for this game.

That being said Dortmund have to replace Bürki more than anything.

You guys are on one. The lead up to the first Dortmund goal had an offside that was missed. By the same logic it shouldn't have counted. Dortmund had one goal wrongly disallowed though. It evens out.

The 1v1 the TV didn't give a clear view. It was difficult to tell but he looked just off to me. Who knows.

The Kane goal was completely fair and the fact you call it dubious shows your bias.

The reffing was shit for both sides and that's why calling it a robbery is quite ridiculous really.

Edit: completely forgot to mention how Spurs battered Dortmund and could have scored 3 or 4 more. Dortmund had some great spells but when we're talking about good chances let's not pretend this was an even game. Dortmund have their defense to blame more than the reffing. If Spurs finished proper it's 5 or 6-1 and nobody talks about the refs considering how much of a thrashing it was.

Great chances created after Dortmund had to open up because the ref wouldn't allow them to score goals! Clearly the biased view from a fan. As a barca fan it's in your DNA though so I'm not surprised.
