I can't even look at things from that sort of era any more without my gag reflex going off. How about some decent budget British dramas set somewhere close to 2016.

9.5/10 rating on imdb

got me hyped for a second, then I checked the metacritic

another flop, pass IMO

actually has decent enough reviews but some lad gave it 3/10 so it brought it down, maybe it's not a flop

premise sounds meh to me but I do need a new show

Seems like it is very artistic.

8 episodes long so can't really go wrong.

I enjoyed the pilot episode. Tom Hardy is perfect for this role.

2nd episode was good.

Great characters, great atmosphere......average plot.

Such a promising show. I personally enjoyed all 8 episodes. The writing is just pretty messy and all over the place. More cohesion is all it lacked. Not sure if there will be another season, but if it happens, needs to be paced better.

Tom Hardy with some absolutely great scenes throughout, but I though Jessie Buckley and Oona Chaplin both held their own. There's of course Jonathan Hyde and Mark Gatiss, who were excellent as well.

Really hoping for another season.

Meh if plot is shit I won't watch. Plot and story is the most important part.
