Pretty sure CB must be talking about Atletico, Bayern were really unlucky in that tie.

I hope so anyway Laughing

Um, CB remembering the wrong matches I think. It was Pep's strategy that gave Madrid free counter attacking reign in the 2nd leg. Bayern did dominate the possession but that is about it.

As Mole wrote, it's the Atleti tie that I would categorise it as "unlucky" or "unfortunate". The RM tie was a proper beating.

Pep Guardiola has spent £986m on players in 11 years in his managerial career. And £541m of that has been in two years at Man City

Most City players were kind of meh this WC. That's a testament to Pep's coaching that they were able to reach 100 points.

I was either remembering Bayern under Ancelotti (vs Madrid) or the Atleti tie. Hard to know
