Just looked it up, BioShock was not a timed exclusive it was ported to PS3 more than a year later.

This is exactly what I meant, Sony somehow got third parties to change their mind and release their games on PS3, obviously they must have paid good money. I find it baffling for example that Nier is not on Xbox.

Last gen, fanboyism aside, owning both consoles was definitely the way to go.

This gen not so much. I think there are maybe 3 titles I'd play for X1. And I think they're on PC anyway.

I'm 100x more tempted to buy a Switch than I am toward buying an Xbox One and that is despite me being a massive Halo and Gears fan. Says a lot.

I'll probably get a Switch if I run out of games to play on PS4 (very bloody unlikely )

Tbh i don't regret my 360 at all.

I loved Gears as much any of you can imagine, all the 3rd party shooters were best there and the exclusives i did get i greatly enjoyed.

I had both, so i got every exclusives from both worlds :>

Just for the record, Bioshock and Mass Effect were not quite Xbox 360 exclusives. They were both released on PC at the same time as 360.

Following the controversy surrounding their recent micro-transaction related patent submission, Activision surprisingly does not give a fcuk, and submits yet another one called "System and method of identifying portions of video game streams for driving microtransactions" - a feature that would allow you to identify your killer's weapon or equipment through killcam, for instance, then giving you the option to press a button to purchase your item of choice that the killer was in possession of. Those scheming douchebags

Elex is easily the GOTY. There once was competition with Gothic and Elder Scrolls, and it's continuing again, and PB throws the ball at Bethesda. Elex is funnier than Skyrim, more complex, has an actual world design, isn't scaled anywhere and has just as fun gameplay. It has the largest, most rewarding gameworld any 3D-rpg has had yet. I would also say it's the funniest game I've ever played.

Probably not, it definitely isn't a game for casual playing. You'll pull you hair out if try to go and hack&slash your way through as nothing is scaled. It's one of these games that really reward you from trying, and eventually succeeding though. It's surprisingly complex, which won't come apparent like until 30 hours to the game.

One thing really amazes me though, is that how such a small team like PB pulls out games like these? Well one explanation is that they don't advertise like big boys, which is why they get shitty reviews from casual money grabbers. But that's also how they can put everything into the actual game. And you really have to applaud that in todays loot box world.

Some additional perspective. For me Gothic 1-3 are one of the best games ever concieved, I liked Risen 1 but never finished Risen 2 nor played Risen 3. For player like me Elex is amazing. I also like TES 2-5 as much probably, so take it as you will. If you're not sure, wait for deals.
