This is why non-football people (many Americans) can't understand how 0-0 games can be more exciting than goals galore. Napoli was far better, but Inter played with discipline and were physically tough. Tactically, both coaches showed why they are among the best in the world. Sarri was able to stop Perisic and to some extent Candreva. Spalletti gelded the Callejon/Mertens team up and Insigne was too tired from the CL match to do anything.

As an American who appreciates defense no matter what sport I watch, this was an enthralling game. A real-time, moving game of chess. I particularly love it when keepers and defenders come to fore as it highlights just how much imbalance there is with attention paid to attackers. A game of really fine margins.

Oh and Handa's saves were miraculous. The one saved with his studs was probably just as good as the one De Gea made last weekend.

Insane how underrated he continues to be continentally and even globally. Same with Oblak over at Atletico as well.

I tend to consider both to be top 5 keepers.

Because they play for Atletico and Inter respectively, along with Slovenia.

It's not that sexy

Sarri and Spaletti, the two best managers in Serie A this season going at it did not disappoint

Good result all other clubs in Serie A too

Handanovic retired from the Slovenian national team. He is better than Oblak now the national team keeper.

Yep, since his Udinese days.

Last season though, Sczesny was the best in Serie A for me.

Chievo - Verona
Atalanta - Bologna
Benevento - Fiorentina
Milan - Genoa
SPAL - Sassuolo
Torino - Roma
Udinese - Juventus
Lazio - Cagliari

Must win for Milan/Montella. Apparently he is expected to come out with

Donnarumma; Rodriguez, Bonucci, Zapata; Bonaventura, Biglia, Kessie, Borini; Calhanoglu, Suso; Kalinic

Genoa is in crisis and just got their first win of the season. Winnable game for Milan but no doubt they'll make it look hard.

Atalanta-Bologna should be a nice game. Lets see if Atalanta can keep the intensity after the midweek game. Bologna are good, 3 wins in a row and 4 games unbeaten. Atalanta really need to make their strong performances count with points.

Roma will have Pellegrini and Florenzi starting again and might debut Moreno. Torino is still without Belotti which means their bad defense is coupled with an incomplete attack. Ljajic has been great but they depend a lot on Belotti for their game.

The people's champion, everyone's favorite underdog, Juventus is back with an experienced lineup against Udinese. Should be straight forward.

Lazio will smash Cagliari.

We got this, we'll smash Genoa, no way we lose this one, even if Montella is dyslexic. Genoa is only tough away.

Too late now I guess.

In general Chievo is a lot better, Veron will probably get relegated. Its the derby though so its different.

Verde scored for Verona at 6'. Chievo will try to fight back and probably not gonna lose. I just tuned in, so I don't know how they are playing.

Handanovic is great , but he made2 saves not more yesterday though.
We defended it diligently , considering also we played against Napoli at San Paolo.
Reina also was decisive on Borja Valero.
No seen Napoli supremacy.
I agree with Gazzetta,
"yesterday decisive both Handanovic and Reina and 2 great chances for both ( borja vecino , insigne mertens) and us ( nerazzurri) were at par."

WTF is that line-up. Borini and Bonaventura as wing backs, Rodriguez a CB, Chalhanoglu so far up.

Montella my man, switch to 4-3-1-2 and field a proper line-up for once.

Not even Pep is mad enough to do something that ridiculous.

Montella needs to chill.

In hours of crisis he should have tried keeping it simple. Instead he went full retard.

Oh well, who cares.

True but don't you think it is paradoxical to play Rodriguez as a CB and Bonaventura as a wing-back ?

Very unorthodox imo.
