Can't believe we didn't sign any quick wingers. Those are the difference makers ffs.

Was just gonna say that today seeing the City-Arsenal game

Sane, KdB, Sterling, Jesus etc, pacefreaks bursting forwards completely obliterated Arsenal

I used to want playmakers/ballplaying hipsters

Now i just want tanks and roadsters

Balance is key. I'd want the middle of the pitch to be filled with ballers, while the wings to be filled with pacewhores. All our players are fkin slow.

We deserved today , really unlucky.
Vecino's post ffs  our most underrated signing but he was great so far. Complete player.
That said, no teams on top 4 have a defender less reliable than Miranda. He's done since last year, today he costed us a goal. His weakness is just hidden from Skriniar' s brilliant performances.
But basically Miranda has just the luck to be not named Andrea Ranocchia

Calhanoglu is looking kind of hilarious in this game. It seems clear that he is not used to being a mezzala.

Calhanoglu isn't good as an AM, LM or anything else. I scoffed when Hans said his deecision making is terrible, but my word, this guy has the brain of an autistic raccoon. You know how when you receive a ball you give a quick glance around to see where everyone is then play the ball? Hakan just plays the ball on instinct, which pays off 10% of the time

Imagine thinking Bailley is going to be the best, in the same world that Romagnoli exists in

Milan up to 7th now. Could see Sampdoria losing out on that coveted 6th place EL position if they aren't careful.

Fiore-Roma

6 goals.

Bologna-Crotone

Verdi (Bologna) scored a free kick with each foot. Crotone came back twice to win the game 2-3.

After the break it will be an intense 2 weeks in Serie A. It could shake up the table quite a bit. The top 5 teams are within 2 points (depending on Roma's game in hand).

Roma - Lazio
Napoli - Milan
Sampdoria - Juventus
Inter - Atalanta
Crotone - Genoa

Very tight games. The first 4 for the top of the table and the last one for relegation. Juric was just sacked and Crotone is at home, Genoa is already in relegation spots.

Then in the midweek

Juventus - Barcelona
Atletico - Roma
Napoli - Shaktar

Even if i were to entertain this Romagnoli/Bailly debate, you wouldn't even be able to comprehend my thought process for a good defender. Even if i were to explain to you how Romagnoli is better at every facet, you just wouldn't get the bigger picture, the PL has dulled your senses of what makes a good defender. You see Bailley and think generational talent, i see Bailly and think low IQ-high energy, high pace player. I can't go in depth much more than these laymen terms for the typical donkey watcher, you are watching 3D chess, meanwhile i'm on 9D Sudoku every week in Serie A. You get to know who's good and who's bad, who's worth his salt and who isn't.

@rincon wrote:Maybe because the "newby" club is 70 years old and the fact that Genoa is older means nothing at all in terms of liking it or not? Why would that even impact anything? It's not like Samp has no history or is some new club.

Samp>>>>>>>Genoa

From Mancini and Vialli to the present day, they've been so much more likeable.

Such disrespect for the illustrious Genoa Cricket and Football Club. Genoa with 9 scudetti and Sampdoria with only 1.

Seriously, I really am trying to see what Utd fans see in Bailly. Really don't think he is anywhere close or would ever be close to how much they big him up.
