Hype on this forum is ridiculous.
I've always been a fan of Eriksen lol. In fact, all Spurs fans have. He was literally Tottenham's only good player through the banter era of AVB/Sherwood post Bale. Scored tons of late goals, free kicks.
Been good ever since Poch arrived too.
Basically, you're talking out of your ass like usual

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
Didn't say that and even if i did it wouldn't be an outlandish considering most of the top 6 have shite DMs.
Also all disrespect of Merino should end after tonight, before he got injured we were top 6 and since he got injured we could hardly buy a goal matter about a point.
Comes back tonight and magically actually get a point and score twice, we are the worst team in the league without him.
This is fact at this point.

Yeah that's not true ( except your own personal fandom)
I have spoken to many Spurs fans including my own dad who wanted him out before last season.
His performances only started to come to the level expected of him when Kane started to perform to a World Class level.
It's not a coincidence, he's a good player but nothing like the level this forum thinks he is.

It's not just this forum though, he's the fourth highest rated CAM in the world on Fifa 18 (after KDB, Dybala and Ozil), which we all know is the most unbiased measurement for a player's rating IRL.
Most fans accept he's one of the best in the world currently tbh.

Fifa
It's stats are about as reliable as it's disgustingly bad gameplay tbh.

Bet he's a glory hunter like CB tbh, probably used to be a Newcastle fan until they signed Shelvey and got relegated. Now he's riding the Sonaldo wave.

Better to be a glory hunter than whatever it is kaladinES has become after Milan spent 250M, that wasn't theirs, on Kalinic and the 7 dwarfs just to finish 7th in Serie A

Last couple pages of the Premier League thread, not really sure what started it or why but it got into a debate of the great minds versus the prem fans

Everybody was feuding and i felt left out so I made the claim that Spurs would beat Juventus in the CL and premfaces defended it voraciously. Spurs vs Juventus is a proxy feud, it's just EPL vs Serie A in another form, or Firenze vs ES in another form etc
Has been pretty fun tbh but Spurs position is untenable atm so gonna keep it on the low down until Feb
So happy Lamela is back though. I can't wait to see him play some more. BC got his player back

He is used to Gascoigne mate
Eriksen is too much great for Spurs and generally it's hard to find better than him in that role , in Europe.
No more time for Totti etc
The hype depends on it too.
Anyway what I appreciate more about Eriksen is his intelligence (even more than his technique etc while Ozil is more techinque . De Bruyne is the most cynical instead )

Time and time again lol. They will never amount to anything.
Best feats of the Poch era is putting pressure on Chelsea and now putting pressure on Juve.

Re: Tottenham's legitimacy watch
Gotta say their ridiculously simple tactic of hoofing it to kane and winning the second ball is so effective
If I was in the PL I'd buy a pair of 6'5 CBs and a 6 foot DM literally just for spurs games. Would nullify 90% of their play.

At least Kane lost some aerial duels, pretty Llorente won every single one. Unfair in the air to have them together.
