Dafuq did Umtiti do there, stopped running again. It's time to get rid of this shithouse.

Love how the fans applaud Iniesta even as they're being relegated. Class.

Haven't seen the entire game but the goals were great. Still can't believe Iniesta won't be there next season... I don't remember how I dealt with Xavi's departure but I'm feeling really down now that Don Andres is starting a new chapter in his life.

Barca have done a pretty good job on closing in on Madrid's La Liga title count. Just 7 away from matching it. In  the last 20 years alone, they've won 2x the no.of league titles as Madrid has.(12 to Madrid's 6)

They'll probably never come close to matching Madrid's CL tally but I think they can go toe to toe with them as far as the league record is concerned, something which was unthinkable say 2 decades ago

Inb4 they collapse after Messi

Give Barca enough time and they'll close the gap CL wise tbh

Barcelona couldn't do that with 3 all time greats in Messi, Xavi and Iniesta, with Puyol, Alves and Pep in their prime and not one but 2 amazing 3 man frontline set ups. Doubtful Barca would ever catch up to Madrid unless the latter literally cease to exist.

So basically, stick to La Liga, that's your peak.

Barcelona/Madrid UCL titles since Barca won their first is roughly equal

Madrid's advantage comes from the days pele was playing. Cba about that.

Barcelona are a different monster than they were back then. Mind the CdR as well, you still need to catch up to Bilbao on that one though

I don't understand why anyone would undermine winning a leauge trophy. Depends on how you look at it, but a leauge could be worth more than CL since you have to be consistent throughout the entire season and not just get lucky in a couple odd games.

Also, it's definitely easier to win the CL if you throw away the leauge and CdR...... Try winning the treble, that's a peak Barca can reach and Madrid cannot.

Betis in Europe, nice. That should be fun, so would the Seville Derby. Can't imagine Betis not making sure that dagger is twisted nice and tight into the wound of Sevilla.

Actually, this is pretty good banter. Could do with more of this to spice up the Clasico. Pretty dull lead up to it honestly.

Actually Barca did compete in that competition but they didn’t qualify. Just like any other major competition, they got eliminated early. Real comical, they break the tradition and now are but hurt when another club does to them what they did.
