Who cares, they qualified so they deserve to be there.

What a way to end the dismal away record for Pep finally, although Basel was just a few levels below tbh.

Biggest win away from home by an English club in the knock out stages of the Champions League.

Is there any end to this man's genius?

Yes there apparently is,

Apologies for breaking it within 24 hours.

There isn't really. He always makes sure his team plays attractive, attacking football. I would rather have enjoyable games week in week out than win the CL by parking the bus or some shit like that.

Basel put 7 past the Portuguese champions in their qualifying group so this just rubber stamps Peps Godliness

Bump...

Unofficial Official Lineup: Bravo; Danilo, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko; Yaya, Gundogan, Foden; Sané, Bernardo, Gabriel Jesus

Foden gonna start tonight. He is the "youngest english player to feature in a champions league knockout match" Proud

Jesus to get a full 90 minutes. Stones-Laporte partnership. Yaya-Gundogan-Foden midfiled. Would have preferred Delph in place of Yaya though.

City are looking a bit.. lackluster out there. Fatigue? I guess that can’t be it when they’re fielding such a young team.

Conceded against Basel at home. They lack game management over 2 legs and will be eliminated next round clearly :coffee:

already easily through so mentally probably not at 100%, Basel aren't a terrible team either. Plus resting some key players. They'll likely win regardless.
