If you go through this thread, you will notice that Nick was firmly in Alisson hype mode when he thought Real were buying him.
Bottom line, Nick always regards those players as the best that either are at Real Madrid or are favoured/reported to be bought by Real in the Madrid court press

Every time I watch him he saves a 1v1 chance like every game. He is probably the best ever at stopping shots in those situations.

He should be known for his 1v1s the same way Neuer is known for sweeping or Ederson for passing. He’s a ridiculous keeper.

He might be the best as an overall goalkeeping talent but he is not a better 1v1 shot stopper than Alisson nor is he a better passer than Ederson.

I disagree. Neuer is a monster 1v1 and his passing is better than Ederson's.

Ederson's passing game is great, but overrated since he plays in a league where he's basically never pressed.
Press him and he makes mistakes immediately. Press Neuer, and he makes a Cruyff turn and then passes.

1v1s is a closer argument.

I don't see it with passing tbh. Neuer might be better at turning under pressure, but in terms of spotting and executing a pass to bypass a high press Ederson might be the best I've ever seen at that.

His technique and execution are better than Neuer's. His passing seems more composed than Neuer's. He has ice in his veins. I agree that if a player is on him he can't turn around him the way Neuer does, but I don't see Neuer picking out the long-range passes that Ederson does.

Now I'm not saying Neuer's bad at that or anything he's obviously in the top 5 along with Alisson, Ter Stegen, and Ederson at distribution, but is he better than Ederson at it? I don't know, I don't think so tbh.

Ederson's passing is better than Neuer's. And yeah he is pressed. One vs one I'll give the edge to Neuer
