Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
Issue is that Sanchez wants a large signing bonus, heard as big as 15m plus 5m agent free
Hope City stay strong and tell his greedy agent and Arsenal to kick rocks.

But then you might lose him to your neighbors. And let's be honest, whether you like him or not, players like Alexis don't come about every full moon, especially in today's market where the talent is pretty scarce and players are being sold for 4xtimes their value.

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
Pep will eventually open the chequebook for him, it's his favourite thing to do at City, can't see him not moving there at this point tbh. Think Journo's are exagerrating due to a slow Jan. Probably a few minor details to hash out still.

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
I don't think United are seriously in for him. It seems like a case of both Arsenal and City using United as leverage to increase/decrease the fee.
This latest news has appeared everywhere, so chances are everyone's been briefed.
The way I see it is that Arsenal will stand firm until they can get a replacement. If they get someone in they'll come down on the £35m asking price imo. City have been burned on this before back in the summer and are 100% sure Alexis is gonna sign for them, so of course they're going to wait instead of hoping Arsenal get their shit together.

Okay, now I think you can say Alexis rejected United when the time comes. Seems the interest is genuine from our side.

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
Just seen Bluemoon have a 3500 page thread on Sanchez in their transfer section
absolute scenes when we sign him, they're already having a meltdown about the possibility
I don't even want him since it ostracizes Martial most likely but if it pisses of City fans get him signed

If he were coming on a free I would find this an entirely reasonable amount TBHnasir6371 wrote:Issue is that Sanchez wants a large signing bonus, heard as big as 15m plus 5m agent free

Arsenal have the right to be as greedy as they want.
Hope the Mkhi deal happens. That would be *bleep* awesome

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
40m(35m +5m) for a player that has 6 months left on his contract is ridiculous. Would rather we got that Malcolm kid instead for £45m.
And don't want him to effect Sane/Sterling's development.

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
Arsenal want £35m for Sanchez. United bid more than that for Perisic before they were reluctant to meet Inter’s demand. Regardless of agents’ fees and wages, they’d be getting a bargain in the post-Neymar market. #mufc

fully agree, it'd be massive for the CL with the goals from Lukaku drying up tbh, dare I say it'd even make us among the favorites, don't @ me

Mkhi would be a big player for you, stop hating, you play Iwobi frequently in those positions FFS.

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
Lmao no way he goes to United.
I'm confused though, can't you go into a contract with a player to sign him in summer at this stage on a free? I guess city want him now.
I think 20m is reasonable tbh in this market. 35m LMAO

Yes, you can enter a pre-agreement to sign in June.
I think Alexis is desperate to leave now, Arsenal would like to receive some sort of return or else lose him for free.
On top of that, he's the perfect impact player for a lot of clubs given that he is not cup-tied, so he can appear in the CL.
I think its a great move for either Manchester club, even at 35M.
