Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
FM moment IRL. After playing for so long and winning everything, you are left with the best players and best young players and unlimited money, and also the dread and disappointment that you can field only 11 players on the football pitch at a single time. I guess City will soon feel like that.
So much for the so called most competitive league in the world.

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
I too don't understand this move from City's perspective. Could have easily waited 6 months.
Not sure how much this adds to their CL chances also. Sanchez will take time to adapt - given that game time is going to be limited as is.
Oh well, I guess Pep hadn't fulfilled his hipster quota at City yet. Inverted Fullback Sanchez incoming.

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
Alexis Sanchez has agreed a €15m/season contract with #MCFC, who gave him two options:
1) Sign next summer and get a €34m bonus
2) Sign now and get a €17m bonus, while #Arsenal get €23m (@DiMarzio)

Hope Pep benches Sané for Alexis.
Sané's the one who got away, and maybe the Alexis signing will bring him home

£25m + Mkhitaryan is the offer, apparently.

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
lol wow, that would actually be a fantastic deal for both teams involved IMO
can't see it happening as I think Sanchez to City is basically done, this wasn't even on my radar but now I want it to happen

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
Arsenal could do much worse than accepting such an offer, Mkhi has been incredibly underwhelming for us, but I thank him for some clutch goals in the treble winning season we're coming away from, especially in Europe..
he's still a 25m player at minimum, so they're getting like 50m and a player who if he performs could be VERY good in their lineup
take it IMO Wenger, I guess it depends on Sanchez himself though, I hope he still secretly resents Pep, just less so than Senile Wenger and that he isn't already set on moving to City
what a coup @S

Firenze convincing himself it would work
Alexis would be daft to accept signing a long term deal with United at this point lol

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
Apparently Sanchez is a boyhood Utd fan. It's happening.
I'd take him obviously but I don't think he would do well for us, and I don't want Martial's game time to become even less
still have faith Martial is the future for us

Also, 25m £ PLUS Mkhi for a player with 6 months on his contract?
Arsenal wanted Mkhi themselves, and he's perfect for Wenger.
Too good to be true.

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
it does sound ridiculous when you exame the details, could be pure nonsense, makes more sense to offer like 10m plus Mkhi or a straight swap
this could just be Mou trying to get one over Guardiola with the title already lost to him

I could see Martial following in the footsteps of Young and becoming the league's most dominant left back tbh

Ah i see he's joining the pantheon of United's infamous signings such as Cesc, Sneijder, Eto, Muller, Gaitan, Reus, Usain Bolt, etc

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
That would be a legit move for United, but why are they now just showing interest?
Is it because their group of forwards have been that bad that instead of looking at a midfielder or a fullback, they've gone full attack heavy?

Their best player is Lingard, i think that sums it up
This is their frontline:

Re: Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City
Why would Arsenal sell to a direct competitor for 4th place than go someone outside their league that does not compete for the same objectives?
Levi should put in a cheeky bid imo

Great entertainment. Totally worth it to see Man City fans panicking.
Certain he would would go to City tho. Its not in Le Arse's hands anymore sadly.
