Nah, Kane doesn't score vs top teams

Last season, 2 of 29 goals vs top opposition, and then only Arsenal and Man United

doesn't matter though as La Liga doesn't have top teams bar Barca

is that statistic legit, that is quite shocking. but makes sense, can't remember him burying a top team besides Arsenal.

basically, not a single goal vs top 4 opposition in 16/17

Liverpool's depth on the bench is absolutely shocking

Oxlade is the best you can do, really?

Can't believe you didn't buy another attacking player for all the Coutinho moments

Now with 3 CBs, really?

They'll lose this

Why would you retreat and focus solely on defending when you have a narrow lead and playing at home? Aren't the countless examples of teams parking the bus after going 1-0 up and eventually losing enough to convince managers that this cowardly approach is usually not reliable and rarely ever fruitful?

Liverpool didn't park the bus, it's just impossible to keep up the pressing from the first half for a full 90 minutes, they're spent

Honestly, and I mean completely honestly, I don't think that this stat is meaningful i.e. that it says something about Kane's quality or lack thereof.

I think that Kane is a top striker who will score when he gets the chance, and I'd wager that those top4 games were games in which Tottenham just didn't play well enough, or create enough chances.

Season before he scored loads of goals vs City, Chelsea, etc

They don't look that spent now that Spurs have equalized. They have switched back to attacking.
