Less than 3 according to a tweet at the same time by Squawka. Don't know what the exact number is.

disgusting club ffs, knew it all along, finally good to have some hard numbers to back it up (besides the fact they haven't won a damn thing in over half a decade), thanks.

Yeah no problem, always nice to enlighten the masses when a team like liverpool claims that spurs are the divers and cheaters. Quite frankly, the statistics just show that it's the other way around.

@Firenze wrote:lol why do we keep extending that Sam Johnstone lad, he's been on our books for mad years.

good for Young though, deserves it after emerging as the best LB in the league this season. Dunno why Blind is being extended, I mean I like him as a squad player and utlity man, guess he doesn't mind warming the benches.

Blind and Johnstone are off in the summer. Extended their contracts because, the club didnt want to lose them on a free I reckon. Ashley Young on the other hand will be a part/main player (depending on where Mou stands wrt Shaw/new LB).

For those of you more into tactics and follow Pep, at the start of the season he was more using 3-5-2, and I was shocked, worried that some of the attacking stars wouldnt get to play since thats one less spot in an already very competitive situation for them, and he eventually switched to 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. All the while hes managed the results and for the most part performance wise.

So what exactly is it thats made Man City so much better do u know this season compared with last? Did getting the younger and faster FBs really make that much of a difference? Or was it more just players finally getting used to his instructions? Or even luck?

I haven't watched City that much this season, they've been fourth priority behind RM, PSG and Man Utd (most of my friends are fans). My best guess is key players hitting form and getting used to his system. I would never have imagined that David Silva would be performing at such a high level at his age, but he seems to be one of those key players. Now, if Aguero can stay injury free, they have a genuinely competitive team. I honestly would much rather prefer if Real Madrid drew against Barcelona than Man City in the CL, provided they actually manage to advance past PSG.

The difference is their defending. In the first season, they really struggled to adapt to the high line and press, not helped by having ageing full backs. They defended transitions poorly. So no matter how good their offence was, it was always spoiled by the defending.

They've gotten a lot more accustomed to it now. You can see that their counter pressing is on point and that they don't give up counter attacking opportunities to opponents that often. Now they can dominate opponents entirely, whereas before they were offensive without being in complete control.

Nice one by B Silva. Too easy for City to get the ball to that area, though.

At this point I'm all for sacking Wenger but I'm not sure it would do any difference. This Arsenal team is mediocre at best
