Actually this is a bad time to build a gaming PC. Yes I said it. (GPU Mining Crisis and high RAM prices atm)
At this point in time the best bang for buck is buy one someone else built 2-3 years ago.

As for the Fallout NV mod - Bethesda can't do anything about it

I'm more interested in the progress of Skyrim together though.

Rumors are going around that several of the devs who worked on the most recent Mafia game have joined "the secret team" that's working on the next Bioshock game. I don't know whether that's good or bad news, or if it's even true. What's your opinion, Mole?

Assuming that's true, it would depend on what developer is joining them and what they are going to do.

Mafia 3 did a lot of things well, the core combat feels absolutely excellent ( more so than most third person shooters) , the story is absolutely awesome and is shot and acted better than some movies.

Not to mention the atmosphere and everything around the game is absolutely on point, the game falls down on the fact it's mission structure is incredibly repetitive and it's moments mission wise is basically let down by a bunch of poorly and repeated designed moments to get you to the destination.

Well that and the AI is a bit shit.

If they spent more time on the game to make sure the missions were consistently quality and it's AI were improved i'm absolutely convinced it would be wildly considered 9+ out of 10 game.

For me Mafia III wasn't a bad game. There were many positives that could be taken from the experience. The story, the visuals, the music, the driving, the combat. All were good enough for a 8-8.5/10 title. What let them down was the repetitive side missions which, at this day and age, have no place in modern gaming world. People are getting used to the likes of Witchers and Fallouts and won't accept grindfest games like it is 1999 any more. The result was the game going on sale for €20 after a couple of months on Steam. The only AAA game to date I've known like that has been another one with a traumatising development: ME:Andromeda. Both games seemed to try to be ambitious at the start and, due to management problems, had to cut corners and put filler material to make up for the lost time and effort.

Also I'm surprised Mafia and Mafia II didn't sell well. They were both fantastic games, especially the graphics for its time was incredible (better than GTA III) and story was top-notch.

Basically how i feel as well, if that mission structure was around 5 or 6 years ago i think it would have been seen more favorably.

But nobody wants that anymore, it's a shame because as you say it did a lot of things very well.

It's also even more of a shame if people are losing their jobs over it.

Not yet, finishing up treasure maps i haven't completed before going back to main story.

Took 7 years or so but Skyrim is finally truly 3rd person capable.

May PS+ free games are Beyond Two Souls and Rayman Legends.

Really fun game, online is good, a blast for splitscreen couch co op. Its FIFA with cars.

I haven't played it in many, many months, maybe over a year but it is an incredibly fun and addictive game

good to turn on the PS4 and play for 30 minutes if you're bored and from what I remember there is a lot of content always being added

Is that legit including all the DLCs? Can never tell any more with the 700 DLCs and titles they release for all the games these days.

There's only one DLC and that edition comes with it.

It's kind of an expansion like Witcher DLC but not as big.

Oxenfree is a great adventure game. I imagine Life Is Strange fans here will like it, lot of LIS vibes on that game.
