You're clutching at straws with many of those names.

Coutinho has had few games, Dembele the same, Lacazette deserves more time (although I'm not optimistic about him, Giroud was probably better), Morata was never going to live up to the price tag, Solanke hasn't really played and Mbabbe and Costa have been rather good - while "top" Serie A signings are so-so whether they should be taken seriously anyway.

That't because Dembele is busy winning the Liga. hmm

Ronaldo isn't just busy winning the CL, he's also his teams best performer. As a matter of fact in CL he's the highest rated player out of all who are still in the competition. Dembele is busy watching his team win la liga at best.

Ronaldo: 7.88
Dembele: 6.82

Benzema: 7.10

Dembele needs to be more compared to the likes of Deulofeu and Denis Suarez.

Add Serge Aurier to the list - the CSpurs connection - and I'll let this one slide.

Fraudnaldo isn't even top 10 players in Refdrid. Why are you concentrating on a fake competition ruled by corruption? The only two tough ties in the last 4 years Uefadrid has got 2 offside goals, penalty, and 3 reds for the opposition. rofl You don't think anyone in the world can score deflected tap-ins, fake penos and offside goals? He is not winning La Liga standing still, he is sitting down on a bench whilst Gomes is getting more starts while having a 6.82 rating. His contributions are so insignificant to Barcelona, I am sure if you remove the 2 assists to his name, Barcelona's position and points tally won't budge.

Like I said, Dembele needs to be compared to his contemporaries like Albrighton and Denis Suarez.

There is no shame in looking like a wet noodle against Madrid.

Mbappe's CL knockout goals: 6 ( in his first season)

Sanchez' : 3
Martial: 0
Lingard: 0
Lukaku: 0

This thread is about the decline in players from the previous season. Irrelevant stat TBH. Mbappe could still GOAT in the future. I'm just wondering why the vast majority (almost all) of the big moves from this season are in decline. For Mbappe there are some obvious reasons, young, new team etc. But it's still true he isn't as good this season as he was last.

CR is 2nd in la liga and 1st in active CL players. Not based on goals or assists but based on whoscored rating.

The sample is so tiny that it borders on the negligible, 2 games against Madrid isn't enough to slap the fraud tag on him. hmm
