Henderson misses the second leg.
Stones and Aguero back for City. Clyne and Can will be back for LFC.

Re: UCL QF: Liverpool vs City
I have said this in chat but i want my thoughts on the forum too.
Basically this was classic Pep trying to out smart himself again.
He's always constantly in fear of his team becoming too predictable so he makes ridiculous choices which almost always end up coming back to bite him.
It's the reason he bought Ibra, the reason he trying a 343 diamond at Barca and the reason he played Lahm in midfield.
But you will notice almost all of these things didn't actually work, so to tonight instead of going with what actually works he plays 3 CBs and drops Sterling ( a Moronic decision.)
What this meant was Liverpool could push up knowing only really Sane could punish them and they could squeeze the back 4 knowing they'd struggle to play through Liverpool and there was no outlet.
Seen people say Aguero was missing, but it's really a short sighted viewpoint. The real issue is the problematic choices which Pep which all led to playing right into Liverpool's hands.
He's still a great manager but everyone has flaws and this is his, he's an obsessive freak who quite frankly when the pressure is on overthinks things to the point of detriment to his team.
Maybe one day he'll learn that sticking to the tried and tested is sometimes better than thinking outside the box to try and counter the opposition.

It was precautionary.
He might be rested against Everton which is annoying because I want to break the 40 goal barrier mark.

Re: UCL QF: Liverpool vs City
Agree with Mole, Guardiola shot himself in the foot playing Laporte and not a width providing full back where they could have easily destroyed ATA. Funnily that job lasted 11 minutes as Salah scored albeit he was offside during the play. What's suprising is the fact Guardiola stuck with Laporte and forced KDB wider to trouble ATA. Did'nt work at the end.

Not really. Most managers can't afford to think outside the box as their jobs are on the line every match and expected to win/survive. Most managers don't get multiple seasons to flop hard. Most managers don't get a second chance after outspending the rivals and failing. Most managers haven't already won the league before it even starts. It is not that other managers can't think outside the box, but the pressure is on them to get results not like Fraudiola trying FIFA formations and mocking the league by playing players in positions they are not used to.
The guy is a one trick pony. With Barcelona it worked because there was a guy called Messi who would save his ass. EPL and Bundesliga titles won are not worthy of mention as they were all gained by outspending the rivals and taking charge of the favourite teams.
Re: UCL QF: Liverpool vs City
None of that has any relevance to what you quoted, you basically just and incoherently ranted about shit that doesn't even make sense.
