Crazy that Roma still in this game.

They can draw inspiratipn from their destruction of Barca in rome.

No doubt roma now believe they can do it. But its gonna be harder since its no longer unexpexted.

Can't see Mane-Firmino-Salah attack not scoring at least 1 there against Roma's abysmal CBs, so I'm somewhat content going into the 2nd leg.

There's no way in hell or heaven or anywhere in between that Roma makes a comeback, simply because:

1) Liverpool are not Barcelona and won't park the bus in Rome.
2) Liverpool will most likely score at least another goal in Rome.
3) Liverpool will have a field day of counter-attacking football since Roma will have no choice but to attack in Rome.

The tie is over. Liverpool are in the final already, no disrespect to the Italians.

How come Liverpool are so mediocre in the PL?

To be honest they havent really met any of the true elite teams in UCL yet (Barca, Real, Bayern, even Juve). For me they arr still untested.

In my humble opinion, you're overrating Madrid while criminally underrating Pool.

To be completely fair with you, I have serious doubt we'll even reach the final, let alone beating the best pressing team in the world while defending with 7 men.

Incredibly entertaining match, though. Really fun to watch. Roma might've had a chance if they hadn't already pulled that particular rabbit out of their hat against Barca, Liverpool will be warned.

I agree. But 99% thought it was over with Barca too. They need another 3-0.

Tonight they could have scored 3-4 goals with some luck/efficiency.

But yes their chances are like 5%.

It would be one of the best Champions league victories of all time if Pool win it but realistically, Madrid have too much quality all round. Big finals winning experience and also have a player who is playing just as good as Salah. It's unchartered territory for Pool with all these young lads and that would matter come the final.

With Bayern it's a 50-50 but if they manage to beat Madrid, they should definitely be considered favourites for the title over Pool.

No. He isn't anywhere near as good as you make him out to be. You are the Salah team. Deal with it. Took him off and conceded two instantly ffs. His mere presence elevates the team.
