true. If son wasn’t so selfish he could have made a few more goals for Kane so he didn’t have to steal them from eriksen

Nah the decision making of a truly transcendent forward is what differentiates them from the rest. Henry, Messi, Aguero, David Villa are among the best strikers of the last two decades, what was the difference between them and Kane, Son, Cavani, Lukaku, Van Persie etc?

In some of those cases (Lukaku vs any of them...lol) talent is a big part of it. However, I would argue a big part of it is that the first group knew when to pass and when to be selfish. The second group not as much.

I think almost all great strikers are exceptionally selfish, but those who make the step up from great striker do so because they know exactly when being selfish is the right thing to do and when being unselfish is the better choice.

The FA has confirmed it is in talks with Shahid Khan - the owner of Fulham FC and NFL side the Jacksonville Jaguars - over the sale of Wembley Stadium for a reported £800m.

Sky Sports News understands a period of due diligence is now underway on a deal that would see the creation of the first ever NFL franchise outside of the USA.

so the national stadium is to be sold off. htg sometimes i wish we had just lost the war. at least we could have said we went down fighting.

Loserpool Stoke right now? 30 mins in, Pool being dominated by Ndiaye, Jack Bauer and the Welsh Xavi atm. Kind of a must win for them too, or it would be if Salah wasn't winning them the CL Sad

Don't even bother looking at the rest of the PL schedule for today..this is the highlight game

We gave up on the league the moment we beat City. Last 3 games have 2 draws and 1 win. We just don't shift to second gear.

I think if we go through Roma or not, Chelsea is going to get destroyed by us, Its like we are saving the energy for just that game in the league.

We don't have the bodies to put up decent teams for both PL and CL games.

How can you 'give up' on the league seeing that you're virtually only 3 points ahead of Chelsea and still have to play them directly

Points on the board >> Games in hand.

Chelsea will not even reach 71 points by the end of the season imo

Just *bleep* beat Stoke and be done with it

yeah it is. i was only saying in another thread we cant rest the front 3 because the players coming in are not stepping up. if lallana and sturridge could stay fit they would be good to bring on but they are made of plastic.
