no way are liverpool getting top 4 this season. its all well and good putting a good performence in the one off champions lge games but its crap like this is why we will never win the title. we needed 6 points to get 4th and the games were west brom and stoke ffs.

unfortunately when you've had a taste of European success recently, poverty domestic cups just don't do much for you..but you're right, that'll be a nice feather in Mou's cap

only missing the PL, CL and Supercup and he's won it all with United :bow:

I'm sure two of those will come next season. Just need to avoid Sevilla and about 90% of the other elite clubs in the knockouts like Pool.

not gonna lie though would be huge for the BREXIT means best narrative if a Loserpool who aren't even in the top 4 of the PL win the CL

wonder how many teams have done that period? I can think of Chelsea (right? I can't remember where they finished when Di Matteo took over from AvB but it was outside the top 4 IIRC)

I'm actually not quite sure how it is now with the new top 4 top4 guarantee.

If both the Champions League and Europa League holders are from the same association ranked 1st–3rd and neither qualify for the Champions League through their domestic league, the fourth-placed team qualifies for the Europa League instead.
